OxyContin, Roxicodone, Oxycodone (generic)

How does Opana compare to Dilaudid?

That is an crazy amount of meds to take in a day. I don't believe for one minute that you ever sober up with such high dosages prescribed to you, especially oxy. My pain clinic doesn't even deal with that medication. I am not even close to that dosage of pain medication. I appreciate the advice but find some of what you say very hard to believe.Best of luck  (Jul 12, 2009 | post #273)

Topamax, Topiramate (generic)

Topiramate and Weight Loss...Does It Work?

The side effects do eventually taper off. I noticed my hair got really thin also but I thought it was because I ate pretty much nothing. It is fine now, thick and soft. I didn't have any problems with my speech or swelling of my hands or feet. I understand not wanting an extra narcotics. Topamax was prescribed to me to help me quit drinking(and it worked along with self control). It is a magic pill.  (Jul 12, 2009 | post #8)

Topamax, Topiramate (generic)

started for weightloss

50 mg 2x daily and I am also on 200mg of Lamictal with it. I am currently supposed to be on 100mg of Topamax 2x daily but the generic isn't the same as name brand.  (Jun 24, 2009 | post #5)

OxyContin, Roxicodone, Oxycodone (generic)

Drug test question

Vicoden don't stay in your system very long. But it is best not to do them for a day or two before a test and drink lots of fluids. My friend popped some vics on the way to a piss test(had a script)and it didn't show up.She didn't take them regularly though. You just never know what is going to happen.  (Jun 18, 2009 | post #20)

Topamax, Topiramate (generic)

started for weightloss

I lost almost 50 lbs in a couple months so I had success.I have kept the weight off too.Keep yourself busy. When you first take it you will feel like crap but that is what made me lose the weight. It will get better after that.I have to really watch what I eat but trust me it works.  (Jun 16, 2009 | post #3)

Topamax, Topiramate (generic)

Generic is a Fraud!!!

Here I thought I was crazy. My headaches are out of control ever since I have been switched to generic.I am getting a huge run around from my insurance company because my doctor requested name brand.I think I am going to fight harder to get the medication I need.  (Jun 16, 2009 | post #3)

Topamax, Topiramate (generic)

Topiramate and Weight Loss...Does It Work?

I also lost close to 50 lbs.I was overweight but not obeise.I couldn't hold any food in my body when I first started this med.It was horrible.I toughed it out though. Now I don't get to hungary but I am very careful of what I eat because I want to keep the weight off.At one point I was too skinny and that was NOT healthy.I am happy now and wouldn't trade this drug for any other.  (Jun 16, 2009 | post #3)

Topamax, Topiramate (generic)

is topiramate available in the usa ?

Yes it is.I think when it is available in generic form most insurance co. will not pay for name brand.I found that out.I was on name brand for years and about 2 months ago I was switched over to generic(Walgreens pharmacy).Hope this helps.  (Jun 16, 2009 | post #2)

Seroquel, Quetiapine (generic)

Seroquel withdrawal and tiredness? weird!

I took Seroquel for about 3 weeks.I couldn't handle it.I also take Topamax and Lamictal.I was so tired all I wanted to do was sleep!!I have never felt that bad in my life.I thought if I gave it some time it would get better and it didn't.I stopped one day and had no problems, maybe because I was on it for such a short period.I felt so good that first morning.I got up and started my day like a normal human being:)Otherwise I would have crawled back in bed for hours and hours.Glad I found your posts. Now I know I'm not the only person out there getting prescribed meds that don't agree with me and they are the same side effects.  (Jun 16, 2009 | post #7)

OxyContin, Roxicodone, Oxycodone (generic)

How does Opana compare to Dilaudid?

I went to see the pain doc today because I couldn't take it anymore. My only two options were Opana or the Fentanyl patch.I didn't want opana as my main med,I have been reading too many negitive reviews about it.Have you or anybody else ever heard good things about the patch??I need to find something for headaches.Right now I take Sumatriptan(generic something??)which does nothing.I have a horrible headache everyday. My doctors don't give me many options. The pain med rotation is nice but I can't start until the meds that don't work run out.Until then I get to suffer. Thanks for your original feed back:)  (Jun 16, 2009 | post #262)
