**** Life Is Good ****

As I look over the standings in the NFL this week, I'm feeling a feeling of hope that has not been felt in a few years to say the least. 1) We are in control of our own destiny. But even more so than that is the fact that we can control our own destiny. 2) We are not having to win 5 of 7 to make the playoffs or get a wildcard. Nor do we have to relie on another team to take a dive or upset a division rival. 3) As I look over the NFC, I don't see a team that I think could beat the Vikings hands down. 4) Also I see the team making progress (especially this week) on issues that need to be resolved by playoff time. (i.e. playing the first half good) I guess heading into the holiday week, we as Vikings fans have much to be thankful for. your thoughts (Sunday Nov 22 | post #1)

Has anybody looked at the calendar? Childress' contract extension is threw 2013. There is only a month and a half left in 2009. Now I'm no mathmatical guru, but that tells me that Childress only has four more years (can't count this one) 2010,2011,2012,201 3. what say you clueless?
