Agency Accused of Abusive Collection Tactics
I like to use something from Jerry Sinfeild show. When they ask to speak to you ask them for their HOME number and when they don’t want to give it to you tell them I guess you don’t want me calling you at home well now you know how I feel. (Apr 10, 2008 | post #5)

Wachovia Employee Under Scrutiny For Wire-Transfer Fraud
I’m not an expert on these things but you might want to make sure you are checking with the police department and see that they are not issuing warrants for worthless checks. I know someone that the same thing happened to and on a traffic stop they arrested her for bad checks that she did not even write and I think it was a boa account! FYI (Apr 3, 2008 | post #11)

Florida - 10 Pound Four-Year-Old; Woman Facing Neglect Charges
ok i looked it up and i am posting it Which is what you should have done instead of calling names of course we are going to be upset about this being it seems that a child has been abused. But if this is the case and this is what made him so small why would they have arrested her? Knowing that the system is screwed and they tend to make mistakes someone needs to come to her rescue and explain all of it! Do you know this lady? What is Lissencephaly? Lissencephaly, which literally means "smooth brain," is a rare, gene-linked brain malformation characterized by the absence of normal convolutions (folds) in the cerebral cortex and an abnormally small head (microcephaly). It is caused during embryonic development by defective neuronal migration, the process in which nerve cells move from their place of origin to their permanent location. Symptoms of the disorder may include unusual facial appearance, difficulty swallowing, failure to thrive, muscle spasms, seizures, and severe psychomotor retardation. Hands, fingers, or toes may be deformed. Lissencephaly may be associated with other diseases including isolated lissencephaly sequence, Miller-Dieker syndrome, and Walker-Warburg syndrome. Is there any treatment? The severe malformations of the brain in lissencephaly most likely will not respond to treatment. Normal supportive care may be needed to help with comfort and nursing needs. Seizures may be controlled with medication. Progressive hydrocephalus (an excessive accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid in the brain) may require shunting. If feeding becomes difficult, a gastrostomy tube may be considered. What is the prognosis? The prognosis for children with lissencephaly depends on the degree of brain malformation. Many will die before the age of 2. Some will survive, but show no significant development beyond a 3- to 5-month-old level. Others may have near-normal development and intelligence. Children with lissencephaly often die from aspiration of food or fluids, or from respiratory disease. What research is being done? The NINDS conducts and supports a wide range of studies that explore the complex systems of normal brain development, including neuronal migration. Recent studies have identified genes that are responsible for lissencephaly. The knowledge gained from these studies provides the foundation for developing treatments and preventive measures for neuronal migration disorders. Don’t get me wrong this seems to be justified shooting I mean if she had shot at me id shoot back and hell I’m not a cop! But much too often the police do stereotype and not just black but all races and backgrounds! (Apr 3, 2008 | post #94)
Gay Prom: Lesbians Win Legal Right To Attend High School Prom
That’s how it should be parents teaching there children about these things but sometimes that’s not the case some children don’t have the family to turn to mommy is into drugs or maybe they just cant talk to there parents. I think it should be taught in home but for the ones who can not get the education from home I think its good they can get it somewhere. And for us that is teaching our kids about the facts of life they will already know what is going on. (Apr 3, 2008 | post #176)

Whats up with the dumb as*es wanting to be cops here is another story on it JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Neighbors say 32-year-old Mark Thompson had a Silver Impala with cop lights on it in the back that he used to run around and pull people over. Police say they saw those same lights when they pulled him over in the beginning of March. They also found a gun he legally owned, handcuffs and police caps. He was ticketed for the lights and was released. Inside his home, they found a police bulletproof vest. Neighbors say Thompson owned the entire block of their neighborhood. The women say he always sexually harassed them. Days after he was ticketed, a woman came forward to police saying that after Thompson sold her a car from his dealership, he took his advances too far. Police say when she refused to comply, he forced himself onto her by placing a gun on the dashboard and demanding she have sex. For fear of her life, police say she complied and then managed to escape. Then, police got a warrant to search Thompson's home and eventually took him to jail. (Apr 3, 2008 | post #47)

Ya know why the kkk wont come to the hood ………….. they know we need the sheets! (Apr 2, 2008 | post #148)
The problem is what do you stop caring about getting these fools behind bars? I know I will be the first to agree that the system is a fed up thing and it makes no sense to let some of these people out. But lots of police here are raciest and do tend to stereotype people. I am not a cop hater I know some good cops myself but I have seen situations more often that the police are wrong for there actions and they judge on skin color rather then facts (Apr 2, 2008 | post #77)
