Free Gas for my fellow Columbia Residents
Hiya folks. Most of you know me from my posts about free gaming gear around Topix but recently I stumbled upon a new site giving out free gas cards. No, it's not one of those credit card scams or anything like that. Just a site that gives you points you can trade for gas cards. The site itself is brand new but the company which runs it has been around for ages. I put together a page on my Group to outline how it all works. I hear ya PeppyBoi. I'm working on getting a more diverse membership going but it's going to take some help from the community. Slowly but surely I'm updating all the pages to reflect the new freebies offered by the different sites we use and will be posting when they're ready. Just a shot in the dark here but I currently reside in Columbia, SC and over the past few years I've been trying to locate my old 6th Grade Elementary School teacher, Mr. Richard Scott Griffin. I figured I'd try these boards since they seem to be focused in and around the Mt. Holly area. Can't hurt right? Just wondering if he's still teaching and if so, where. Also, would like to shoot him an email and see where life has led him. He was a very influential person during my younger years and I'd really like the opportunity to thank him! Hiya Peppy... To be honest, I don't have a lot of Wii-owner members in the group. However, a couple of the sites we use also have Wii rewards available. So, if you'd rather get Wii points, controllers, accessories, etc., you can use the same methods. It's actually quite easy. Oh yeah...if you don't want anything "video-game-w ise", just find something on the net that you do want and get it. These guys will let you use your points for just about anything. I'm glad to see the Wii community finally having an opportunity to get in on the free gaming gear craze. Those of us with PS3s and 360s have been taking advantage of the freebies for years so it's only fair you guys get in on some of the action. Both rewards1 and prizerebel are great sites and I'm members of both. However, these sites represent only a small portion of the sites/programs available. Sure, many are crap and a waste of time but there are some which work very very well. I got tired of trying to figure out what was what and what was legit so my friends and I put together a Google Group. Within the group we have page after page after page of info, tips, tricks, strategies, discussions, etc. on nearly every "worth-while " program/site currently avaiable. I personally have used most all of them and have been brutally honest with regard to my opinion of them all. Just check the group and you'll see what I mean. So, if you're having a hard time figuring out which one is worth your time and effort, check the Group...it's called XBOX Incentives & Rewards. Oh yeah...I also give away Live memberships, MS Points, Faceplates, etc. to members. We're currently at 380_ members but I'd love to see some new folks sign up. Wow...that's quite a loss there. Should have done like most and simply returned the unit for replacement. The new units rarely, if ever get the RROD. Have fun with your PS3 though. I'm no console hater but I must say, the selection of games for the 360 are of a much higher quality that's for sure. However, I'm sure you'll discover this for yourself the more you play the PS3.
