You’re right devons, I could continue to put Bible verses up proving that homosexual acts are immoral and that God does not approve of them. I could do so with other subjects as well. Using the Bible as a weapon is FAR from destroying Christianity, it actually promotes it. The founders of this nation believed on it, most of them lived by it, if fact most all of our laws were inspired from the Bible. It is only those that do not believe or sees the Bible as not conforming to their lifestyle choices that find a problem with it. I not so much interested in just your life, I am just interested in spreading the gospel and I will talk to those that will listen or respond. I catch all sorts of ridicule for talking about our Lord and savior; I have even been called fanatical by some. So just remember that while you think that I may be losing valuable time, I’m not. Spreading the gospel of our Lord will always be worthwhile. I guess if you want to call it ridicule you may do so ltndncr59. What I should have said is that I do not believe that your Rabbi is reading from the King James Version of the Bible. Evidently whatever teachings he or she is reading from either does not condemn homosexual (sexual immoral) acts or does not mention them. However the Bible I read from does. That is why I said, “Then your rabbi evidently does not read or perhaps does not under stand the word of God. Maybe he just chooses to skip the parts where it says homosexuality is wrong.” What would I say if you discredited my pastor? Absolutely nothing, you and the rest of the people that have been posting here all have a right to believe in whatever you wish. Free will to believe in God or deny Him, free will to be gay or be straight, free will to be a doctor who tries to save lives or a killer who takes them. I do not judge anyone but myself, and yes I have reached that chapter in the Bible. I only try and teach people what the Bible says. I am sorry for calling you a DUDE; please forgive me I did not know. I truly believe that being gay, homosexual, lesbian, bisexual etc. is a choice. I do not believe God would create someone that is that way. I also believe that this world (rather the people in this world) can brainwash other people to the extent that they do not know what to believe anymore. Take the military for instance; soldiers at times spend hours on top of hours being debriefed. They are being told that they didn’t see something when they really did. By the end of the debriefing they are so confused that they do not know what to believe. So you are confused, I said that I made the choice to do what is right, what is wholesome and moral. That statement does not mean that I am going to be perfect, it means that I am going to try to the best of my ability. EVERYONE sins, you, me everyone. The only Person that committed no sin was Jesus. All I can do is ask for forgiveness and I do so on a daily bases. I also see that you love twisting other people’s word around to make yourself look smarter. Maybe it is so you can make them look ignorant. You wanted to know where in the Bible it says that homosexuals have a deranged mind. You have already read it once but I’ll post it again for you. While I am at it I’ll look up the synonyms for Vile and reprobate. Synonyms for VILE (evil, despicable, contemptible, depraved, degraded, low, wicked). You’re right on me making my choice. I made the choice to do what is right, what is wholesome and moral. Don’t get me wrong, I have made some bad choices along the way but choosing to have homosexual relationships was never one of those. Like I stated on the previous post I was born a man, so I knew from that where my position was in life. So with that being said, I made the right choice to follow God and follow what His word has to say. I have seen one man turn from a homosexual relationship after finding the Lord and has never returned to it. One of his statements I have heard was, “man oh man I can’t believe how wrong I was.” So it can happen, Homosexuals can be returned to a normal lifestyle and live a happy and rewarding life there after. The problem is that most people living in that lifestyle either will not have anything what so ever to do with the Bible or flat out deign the very existence of God. With these people it is futile attempt at best to get them to believe anything you may say. Some say why even bother? The reason I do is that I was told to, God told all Christians to do so. Here is the passage: Mark 16:15 “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” It is hard to tell someone living in a homosexual lifestyle that they have a deranged mind, however the Bible says it. The Bible makes allot of sense if you have been saved. I can compare the Bible to the world around me and see that what the Bible says is coming to pass. To those that do not believe it is just a confusing book full of silly stories. Here is some scripture that explains why homosexuals believe that they was born that way, when actually it was their CHOICE. Romans 1:20 – 32 20 “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:” 21 “Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.” 22 “Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,” 23 “And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.” 24 “Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:” 25 “Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Look DUDE, you just don't get it do you? I was born a man; I have no other choice but to be a man. Normal, logical thinking should lead a normal person to believe that a man and a woman should be together. A normal man or woman does not have to choose what to be, they know it. They do not have homosexual tendencies. If they are born a woman they will naturally be attracted to men. If they are born a man they will naturally be attracted to women. Anything outside of that is a CHOICE! I can not fathom the reasoning behind two men or two women, becoming involved in sexual relations. Your right Socialist from Indiana, people have no right to vandalize someone's property because of how they live or for any other reason. I too hope that these individuals are caught and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. It may sound as if I am being judgmental, but all I am trying to do is give people a reality check. God created MAN and WOMAN, there was a purpose for this. Not so man could have sexual relations with another man or a woman with another woman. His intent was so man and woman could be married and populate. Anything outside of this is wrong in God's eyes. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (NIV): "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters, nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God." Some speak about loving who we want, sure I am all for that. In fact the Bible says that we should love everyone. I have male and female friends that I love very dearly. Most of which I would give them the shirt off my back or my last dollar to help them if they needed it. Does that mean that I have sexual relations with them? No. Socialist from Indiana said "If gay people could change and be straight, they would. But, they can't. They were born that way." A friend of mine goes to church with a couple, of which the man used to be homosexual. He too always felt like you was born that way. He said that he would have argued that point until he ran out of breath back then. He found the Lord several years ago and turned from that lifestyle. He made a CHOICE!!!! People it's all about choices, you make them, I make them and we do so on a minute by minute bases. I ask the Lord several times daily to forgive me of where I fail Him. I too have seen her around McMinnville, at different locations. I saw most of the trial. I have even spoken to her. She in my opinion has nor shows no remorse for what she done. Not possible. He was a man in a mans body with a disillusioned mind. If you are a man and you are gay then you chose it. If you think otherwise then you too are living in disillusion. I was born a man and there for have the attraction for women. If (and only if for the reason of making a point) my sexual attractions was for other men, then I would have chosen that. I then too would be live as all homosexuals do, in disillusion. I did not chose to be as you call it hetero, I was born a man so therefore I am a man.
