If you just moved out here from California, how many barbers have you had a chance to visit. What parts of Atlanta have you visited to check out the skillz of these barbers? Also, is Cali suppose to be breading ground of great barbers? Are we suppose to think because you came from Cali you have expert knowledge of great barbers? (Monday Nov 16 | post #4)
DO YOU THINK WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH RAIN?

Man dead after I-20 police chase
Bill I have come to the conclusion that there is a select group on this board that any time they get a chance to bash the police they will do it. No matter if it is legitimate or not. If the police had not been trying to pull this man over then they would have been complaining about where were the police. (Monday Nov 9 | post #26)
LA Fitness ... The New Golds Gym?
No, I am not saying blame the victim. But, we have to take measures to protect ourself against crimes of convenience and greed. I work out at Gold's, I know that these crimes happen and I take my personal belongings into the gym with me. In an idealistic world we would not have these thugs running around robbing our citizens. In an idealistic world we could leave our homes and cars unlocked, we could allow our children to go to the pet section of Wal-mart to look at the fish, we could allow our children to walk around the block by themselves with out anything bad happening to them. But this isn't the world we live in. We have to try to protect ourselves to the best of our ability against the thugs in the world. Today's society has proven itself that you can't rely on other people to look out for you and your family. (Monday Nov 9 | post #93)
LA Fitness ... The New Golds Gym?
It is a known fact that these places are broken into. They have signs all over the parking lot warning the members. At this point it is upto the member if they want to risk leaving their valuables in their car. Both gyms provide their members with free lockers to keep thier belongings. The member just needs to purchase a $2 lock from Walmart and then their belongings are save. I have seen many members carry thier gym bags and purses into the main workout rooms with them. The gyms provide free cubby wholes where you can place your belonging in the same area you are working out. (Monday Nov 9 | post #91)

They took all the trees and put them in a tree museum. And they charged all the people A dollar and a half just to see 'em. Don't it always seem to go That you don't know what you've got till it's gone? They paved paradise and put up a parking lot. (Oct 20, 2009 | post #68)
My husband had 16 years of law enforcement under his belt. Then it was taken away due to a drug dealer. He was in a bad accident that ended his police career. He was on the SWAT team and other divisions of the police department and anytime something traumatic such as this happened it carried with him for a while. Some things still do. As a family member and a friend of law enforcement you are 100% correct. There is so much more that goes on behind the scene that this deputy is going to deal with that most people will never see or hear about. 99% of LEO do the job because they want to make the world a safer place and want to do right by others. Most officers go their entire career with out having to fire their gun for nothing more than target practice. So when a officer gets put in to this situation it is very traumatic.
