Did Jesus have brown skin or white skin?
http://en.wikipedi a.org/wiki/Arab Here is the reference. Also, most people portray their gods in their own images, so they can feel close and relate to God. also, most of the paintings that were made, the artist had not seen the people of the middle east. (Jul 16, 2008 | post #6)
Did Jesus have brown skin or white skin?
He was not an arab, He was Jewish. An Arab is someone who can trace his or her ancestry to the tribes of Arabia - the original inhabitants of the Arabian Peninsula - and the Syrian Desert. This definition covers fewer self-identified Arabs than not, and was the definition used in medieval times. Just a correction and not a statment. (Jul 16, 2008 | post #3)
Cancer claims ex-Bush press secretary Tony Snow
I agreed with very little of what Tony supported. But, he seemed like a truly nice guy. (Jul 13, 2008 | post #1)
Court Upholds Landis' Doping Ban
What about Manuel Beltran. Can we trust the results. is this FL part deux? (Jul 12, 2008 | post #87)
thanks It seems that the ones that rolled over for the system are smart. they where able to go back to racing and support their family. The system will punish the innocent more than the guilty, unless you aren't as stubborn as Floyd. You would think that if you did cheat you would say oh well they caught me and not fight. And then you can maybe go back to racing after two years. unless your Tyler Hamilton or someone else that has not suffered enough under this system and get excluded from some races. I believe that the easy answer is to cave in and the most difficult path is to fight because it is wrong to give into tyrants. (Jul 9, 2008 | post #18)
Two things You have to give Lance more than the benifit of doubt. He did not cheat because the test are never wrong. what does an innocent rider that is accused of cheating look like? name one example. (Jul 8, 2008 | post #13)
Court Upholds Landis' Doping Ban
They lost the data for the irms tests, which meant that they had no backup for their results. They did not send the samples to another lab to prove that they where correct. They had a computer that recorded data for their diagnostic equipment that more than likely had data for several years on it and oops it got erased after this high profile finding and the sample I was testing was used up. and oh well too bad you have to take our word for it. what is your argument to defend that? Court Upholds Landis' Doping Ban
The problem is that ASO also owns a "Newspaper " that sells papers when they print who was doping before the ride finds out. I would trust the system if did not have only two parts to it. The riders on one side and everyone else on the other. I would love for the labs to be independent. And just provide the data from the tests and have a governing body that only regulates the labs and provide an independent mechanism for verifying the results. People always make the comment that if the riders have nothing to hide they would not mind the testing. I would say if the labs have nothing to hide they would allow independent verification of results. during the Landis case everyone seemed afraid that the results would not hold up to scrutiny. They lost data and they performed all of the tests. (Jul 5, 2008 | post #52)
Former Republican N.C. Sen. Jesse Helms dies at 86
I did not realize that he was alive. How can you be a patriot by denying some citizens their rights? (Jul 4, 2008 | post #19)
who WINS the DETOUR of France?
This year I am pulling for slipstream, because if they win ASO will have a cow. And I would like to see what would happen if the LNDD pulls the same crap with a team that has it's own in house drug testing and they have to compare results. I wonder how come the teams do not ask for anything in their contracts. such as if the lab comes up with a false positive how much are they going to pay the teams? but, honestly they are crazy for signing such a lop sided contract. I would at lest ask for the testing be independent. (Jul 4, 2008 | post #4)
Landis loses final chance to retain Tour de France title
The problem with the system is that wada had no chance of losing this case or any other case. I had hoped that cas would have made an objective judgement in the case instead of giving the lab the presumption of competence. how can you have a fair hearing if you assume that the other side can not be wrong. Riders will suffer the incompetence of the labs until they stop looking at each false positive as one less competitor to deal with, and make a stand. I am against doping, but the system is more detrimental to the sport. It should not take as long to get a decision in a case as the suspension. And a system that gives the prosecution no burden of proof, cannot be just. (Jun 30, 2008 | post #17)

Contador's Astana team excluded from Tour de France
The real winner was ASO. They were able to sell some papers by creating a story. (Jun 30, 2008 | post #76)
Contador's Astana team excluded from Tour de France
I was thinking that we should pick a stage of the tour to boycott the race. To protest the exclusion of Astana from the race. (Jun 28, 2008 | post #70)
What CAS decision would be best for cycling?
Awesome.. You nailed it totally. I hope that you haven't run off the newbies. given the time everyone that has been here the last two years we have beaten this case to death. all that is left is the choir. and some new blood while waiting for the decision keeps it interesting.
