Right on Rasco! Because the religious citizens of kerrville feel all warm and fuzzy upon sight of the crucifix, does that justify ignoring all other viewpoints? What about the feelings of those who see the statue as a gross misrepresentation of what their community stands for? How about something tasteful like "Welcome to Kerrville"? Why is there a need to push religious iconography & message (even if you do see this as fufilling your religious obligation to "testify ")into the PUBLIC domain? (Wednesday Nov 11 | post #4)
