Oakland Raiders off to positive start with win over Dallas Cowboys
i'm sold alot on this game. i know you say the vets dont show up but u would think they would if they want to keep their jobs. also DHB did great drawing dbl coverages. that opened up alot. at one point i saw a db about ten yards back just to cover him. but we ran the ball which was good. we have tall wr's made the db's look small as hell. go raiders. would love to change it. not sure how though. help me out. (Apr 26, 2009 | post #5)
omg, i never heard of this dude until i just watched that video. no the greatest quality video but looks like a brian dawkins take your head off type. love the speed on the blitz and jacked that qb. let him loose on philip rivers and takem out. good pick. (Apr 25, 2009 | post #9)
why is keyshawn on espn....what a jacka$$
i like this pick and i think no matter who we would have picked every one would be hating as they continue to do. oh and you guys should check out the espn's comment on raidersbeat.com . keyshawn jonhson is the dumbest player ever. he said that speed recievers cant catch. wow. so i guess randy moss is slow. steve smith is slow. james jett was slow. cliff branch was slow. keyshawn is dumb as f%$k. What is your top three choices for the first pick for the Raiders?
1. bey 2. mauluga 3. orakpo mauluga if we can get a good trade down deal. also word is we are trying to trade burgess. de in first round? big desitions. (Apr 24, 2009 | post #15)
i would prefur us trading down or if sanchez is there get him and find a team that really wants him and we want the player they get and trade him in a packaged deal. im not too high on crap-tree. better guys out there. my wish list bey, malaluga, orakbo. bey has for sure speed that crap-tree doesnt and hight. Raiders could face decision on Crabtree
i agree. i would rather see fargas go. if anyone. (Feb 28, 2009 | post #9)
you guys are funny. i too am a big fan of Bush. i too would like to see him and mcfadden back with Rankin. i was talking about that trade cuz that was the trade everyone was talking about. he torched the buccs so they saw first hand how he plays, plus the buccs need rb's. im with you guys on the fargas move and D-Mac and Buch 1-2 punch. i was just going of what the reports are saying. (Feb 28, 2009 | post #6)
1) round 1- Brian Orakpo, DE, Texas 2) round 2- Darrius Heyward-Bey, WR, Maryland 3) trade into round 2- Bush and Walter to Buccs for round 2 pick take- Herman Johnson, G, LSU or Fili Moala, DE/DT, USC. yes i know we are weak at tackle but Raiders are looking at a few free agents right now and we should really beaf up that d-line. if we could some how get Ray Lewis (yes i said it) with those picks we should stop the run easy. by also getting a tall fast reciever. Raiders could face decision on Crabtree
like your thinking lord vak but i would prefer us taking Orakpo over Crabtree and maybe picking up Darrius Heyward-Bey in the second. also using Bush to get into the second round or third and then picking a lineman like take the Buccs 2nd pick and get Herman Johnson, G, LSU or get Fili Moala, DE/DT, USC to beaf up the line more. hell throw bush and walter at the Buccs to get that pick. Raiders cut three to create cap room
was he really that good or just good on a poor team. i dont remember him standing out with the giants much. i didnt expect it either but maybe there is someone better also maybe some good like him but at a cheaper price. we will all see soon enough. go raiders. (Feb 20, 2009 | post #4)
Why is this taking so long for a head coach or any coaches?
Herrera said Al wanted this to go fast and here we are almost into Feb. This is fast. we are one of two teams left without a coach and the Chiefs just fired theirs. WTF Al. pick someone. then draft Ray USC. it aint that hard. (Jan 25, 2009 | post #1)
Raiders 2009 schedule looks tough
As a result, the Raiders host the Jets at the Coliseum next season. Oakland's other home games are against the San Diego Chargers, Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, Washington Redskins, Philadelphia Eagles, Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens. The Raiders' other road games are against the Chargers, Broncos, Chiefs, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns. Oakland's 2009 opponents — counting division opponents only once — posted a .505 won-loss percentage (104-102-2). The won-loss percentage of their 2008 opponents based on 2007 results was .433 (90-118). (Dec 29, 2008 | post #1)
Not knowing what team you like but you wont see me out there talking crap about your favorite team cuz i have respect for all teams even the ones i hate. so i think that makes you a crappy fan. plus some of the retarded shit you say. (Dec 25, 2008 | post #5)
