Coopersville visitor dies from bacterial meningitis
correction: about saying 2-4 weeks, however if it was bacterial it is correct that someone would have had to share something with that person in order to catch it, it would only be contagious if it was viral. (May 14, 2008 | post #27)

Coopersville visitor dies from bacterial meningitis
I don't believe you would be contagious to anyone if your vaccine was done 2-4weeks before contact with him. If you are in doubt or worried, contact your local health department or contact the CDC in Atlanta, Georgia, hope all is ok with you and your family, so sorry about your friend. Though it may be true that this child and others may be misbehaving, has nothing to do with twinkies and t.v. his concern was how the principal was dealing with it, not the teacher, so therefore no time is taking away from your child. you should not be so rude. lisa (May 8, 2008 | post #140)
Joe, have you tried the taking your claim to the police? It appears she is in violation of our laws. She knows it is illegal to have alcohol on school grounds, and what she is doing to your child and others appears to be wrong also. I would go over the school's head and go straight to the police and let them investigate it. lisa (May 8, 2008 | post #139)
Mosque Refuses To Hold Funeral For Accused Killer
I understand how you feel with a fallen police officer, how he died in the line of duty was wrong and the person who shot him is also gone and does need a funeral of some type. It is hard when when of your own dies, you need to find a support network to help you deal with your feelings on this issue. Thank You, lisa (May 8, 2008 | post #1)
