I'll agree that the majority of American women suck, but let's look at the cultural differences of American women vs. foreign: 1: most foreign women do not have to work to support a household, leaving them more time to cook, clean and raise a family. 2: most foreign women are far more submissive to a man because they have little power, due to the above fact. They are obedient and have pretty much put all of their eggs in one basket. 3: Foreign cultures, for the most part, do not offer the same freedoms that American women have. 4: American women are far more independent due to the fact they are forced to fend for themselves, provide and have the ability to think for themselves, thus making them less tolerant to the overall stupidity, selfishness and carelessness of men in America. :) (Sep 16, 2011 | post #420)

Agreed. I live in a nice area of az where we don't see anything that was depicted in those examples, but I can completely see how someone would read that and make a snap judgement. The funny part is, what they are doing by making those judgements is exactly what I'm being accused of, when in fact, that never happened at all. I've made observations, as anyone would. Gilbert, AZ doesn't have gangs, there is no graffiti, hardly any violence and is very safe and beautiful. You wouldn't know that without living here. I don't know about Waverly and don't claim to. I find it ignorant, obnoxious and sad. I'm not sure that you remember that no one made fun of you. Small towns operate a hell of a lot different than large cities do. Can't really spell that out for you any clearer, so perhaps you should refrain from making blind accusations, stop assuming that everyone is attacking you and take a look at the reality of the situation and accept that someone like me, from a big city, is going to look at the way a all town work and be culture shocked.
