Wilson alumni as well, I am not shocked by this though. I went there about 7 years ago and we had students that were in gangs. It was no secret that some of the students were involved in violence outside of school possibly inside as well. It really just seems to be getting worse. Council committee votes to regulate medical pot
Ronald, insurance companies do not cover this and most likely will not until something is done on the Federal level. I know you have a deep hatred for pot smokers because they are such a burden on society....come on......Anyway.....The system is flawed though, the co-ops and collectives are obviously out for profit. I should be going to a pharmacy to get a prescription medication. Not some guy/lady who thinks he/she knows what kind of effects the pot is going to have on me. There needs to be massive studies and clinical trials. Education programs in place in universities (Oaksterdam is a good start). A lot of stuff has to be done here, hopefully they get it right. I agree with locking her up for as long as they can, most likely (unless priors or driving record is lengthy) she won't serve that much time. I think people who drink and drive and get caught without hurting anyone are really lucky and should take seriously the short jail time and hefty fines and other things that can damage your day to day life and then understand they could have killed someone. I think people if drunk and driving and kill someone should be subject to murder charges on their first offense. You know it's dangerous and you could kill someone so why should it not be considered murder. You plan to get drunk, you know you shouldn't drive drunk because something could happen and then you end up killing someone, seems premeditated. No excuses, take a taxi, take public transportation or don't drink. (Oct 26, 2009 | post #11)

No Medpot....that is just an awful and I hope sarcastic view between the use of prescription medicine and marijuana. Rx, I do agree for anyone to take marijuana seriously you should be getting it at the local pharmacy or retail pharmacy from a real pharmacist and not at these little mom and pops weed shops. I don't make comments I know nothing about either. You still, along with everyone else, have not proven these comments made by Rish Limbaugh or at least that any merit racism. This is not about comments made, it's about upsetting a group and they spoke out against a person and now his business dream goes away. Also, what you consider racism, is the reason racism is meaningless these days. It is a term used way too often, "the boy that cried racism." I don't have to listen to the show to have knowledge of these things. They have this really amazing thing called the internet these days and you can do research on it, crazy I know but it is real.....after this I say goodbye though, the issue has concluded and the people that cried the loudest got their way. Everything you just stated is untrue. I don't listen to his program, I know a lot about him however. You can not watch a news channel or read a newspaper and not know of him or about him. They did show on ESPN and I believe other news shows exactly what he said about McNabb. You assume I have no knowledge on the issue for some reason that mystifies me. You are biased in your opinions, your facts and all the statements you have made. You think in all honesty he would be so popular if he just spouted off all this hate you speak of? I'm not the one that needs to look for the statements, because they are not there to find.
