You can't really say anything unless you have been there. From what you are saying though, 20th and Pacific would be great, you would have to walk with an armed guard already so it would fit right in. You obviously have no knowledge of drugs or addcition....you do not know their situations....were they in wars....was there abuse.....If you don't know the story....how can you write the book? Hey where did I say "I support methadone and clinics" All I did was ask if that person who was against it had any better ideas....don't jump to conclusions. I do however know a few people that have done heroin, I know someone that has died from it, and they have to do something besides jail for these people (unless they cause violence then put them in jail).......they have to put a clinic like this somewhere or offer some other forms of help somewhere. You are only right about one part.....it does start at home, if there is no discipline in the home why would they have to behave at school. However, there are kids of all races that act out in class....if the teacher was smart, they would make that student leave class and let the counselors and principals deal with that...which IS there job as administrators. I know this has nothing to do with the article but everyone made this into a race thing......why do they still think it is African American....when a survey or test asks me my race it does not have on the list European American....which I am not because my great grandparents might have been but I'm either white or American.....you are either African....or American....you can't be both....unless you came here from Africa and became a citizen.....Please do not call me racist after this....I think my point is somewhat valid.
