The question is not whether he stands behind his Reverend Wright today. It IS why he didn't stand up to Reverend Wright over the last 20 years. Why didn't Obama stand up in that congregation and tell Reverend Wright that he was crossing a line into human hatred that was not appropriate for a spiritual leader? Why didn't he stand up and say, "No, white people did NOT create AIDS to destroy African Americans." ? Why didn't he stand up and say "God Bless America!" ? Not once, in that 20 years, did he stand in that church and stick up for America and a vast majority of it's population. And, now, he expects to make all of that more acceptable by doing a few media interviews?? I don't think so, Mr. Obama! (May 2, 2008 | post #45)
