Former teacher convicted for sexual conduct with 17-year-old girl

Excellent Margie! I just signed the volunteer sheet for "Snow Stomping", and looking for some more stuff. That's half the fun! I'll be running the 1/2 marathon too. I enjoy your posts.  (Saturday Nov 21 | post #10)

Most of it had to be staged. Those boys didn't look tough enough to pull it off.  (Wednesday Nov 18 | post #7)

Deer loses head-butt with Wisconsin lawn ornament

Ask the experimenters why they experiment on animals, and the answer is: "Because the animals are like us." Ask the experimenters why it is morally OK to experiment on animals, and the answer is: "Because the animals are not like us." Animal experimentation rests on a logical contradiction. -Charles R. Musician to perform Darwin songs at Macalester

This sounds pretty cool. I might take it in. For those who feel Darwin was a racist, compared to his peers he was downright progressive. http://scienceblog s.com/pharyngula/2 007/03/was_darwin_ a_racist.php  (Saturday Nov 14 | post #9)

So that's why your husband-brother-dad-son-boyfriend hasn't shaved

My annual beard went away when the salt caught up to the pepper. It just wasn't a good look anymore. Like Rob, when my stylist asks me about shaving my neck, I say, "stop at my waist."  (Saturday Nov 14 | post #20)

Wireless medical device a winner

Awesome Class II technology, and great application. This is good old fashioned yankee ingenuity at its best. http://google2.fda .gov/search?q=blue tooth+stethoscope &client=FDAgov &site=FDAgov &lr=&proxy stylesheet=FDAgov &output=xml_no _dtd&getfields =*&x=7&y=6  (Saturday Nov 14 | post #2)

Thank you for your candid remarks. I'd like to remind you that my original remark though juvenile, was on topic. So far you have done nothing but attack me. Do you have any comments on the Freemasons, or are you content to troll the thread for inflammatory opportunities?  (Saturday Nov 14 | post #24)

Three cheers to the Freemasons and all of the fraternal organizations who regularly get written up in the PP. Their efforts are grand and well know. Someday I'd like to see an article in the PP about the people responsible for the other 99.5% of the charitable efforts in the world. Let's read about the unsung volunteer working the soup kitchens, shoveling walks for the elderly, reading to children in schools and scads of other lower profile duties. The socially conscious people that just "suit up & show up" regularly to volunteer without the "brass band" given to the high profile organizations deserve some recognition too.  (Saturday Nov 14 | post #23)

Got a solution for you, stay away from my posts. you are an ornery phart itchin for a fight. Just skip over them like you would a Doonsbury cartoon on the conics page. Oh I forgot, no sense of humor. So anyway, the next time you feel like lashing out at me for no reason, take the idea an stash it in a dark place next to your head.  (Saturday Nov 14 | post #17)
