I'm surprised the plan isn't 5000 pages trying to straigten out all the smoke, mirrors, and hidden corporate welfare given to the health insurance industry in the past 20 yrs. Be thankful we're finally doing something about it after 70 yrs of trying.  (Friday Nov 13 | post #7)

I too am over 60, but after having almost lost everything this year, including our house we could not afford the COBRA payment and ended up with NO HEALTH COVERAGE at all!! Most of us work very hard and don't want to spend days in an emergency room wasting your taxpayer $$$!!. Even a small health subsidy to cover basic doctor visits will be a improvement.  (Friday Nov 13 | post #6)
