Study identifies Kansans' health care system wants
i totally agree with looking at the pharmaceutical companies. if i see one more commercial on prime time television for a medicine i am paying way too much for, i am going to snap! it is ridiculous and a big part of the problem with meds being affordable/available for all. i'm sure they probably are in bed with the fda. the government sure hasn't addressed any of that, from what i have seen. what qualifies as "extensive experience in the health care arena"? do you work in healthcare? i'm curious. (Jun 17, 2008 | post #16)
i do wonder though, why you frequent the topix forum in o.p. kansas if you are so glad to gone. this strand, in particular, is ridiculously old, so why do you care? (Jun 16, 2008 | post #408)
i have been there for a brief visit... but thanks for the tourism info. i am quite happy in kansas! (Jun 15, 2008 | post #405)

it's amazing how much the government is in the midst of everything, frankly. many people already go without care and medicine. many people get it without contributing anything at all...like those who don't pay taxes etc.. i am not a fan of the middleman or insurance companies at all, but the government controlling medicine isn't the answer either. there needs to be a better way, i agree with that much. is our current system faulty? yes! do i want the government controlling what and which healthcare i am provided with or am allowed to have my children provided with? NO! that's called socialism. america, last time i checked, isn't for that kind of thing. government medicine is a big no for me. i'd love to be on the panel to state my case as the opposing. Kansas court unseals Planned Parenthood cases
wow! when you clarify, you really clarify! i truly appreciate your efforts to be civil and get your point across. i agree. my beef is with the government putting their little paws into every aspect of everyone's business. i don't like the government getting involved with much of anything any more. i usually end up getting fussed at on topics like this because i come across pro choice...i am pro choice. i am for people making good choices, but all by themselves...and yes, being responsible for their own choices. the government cannot regulate what they are already in charge of, so i say don't take on more!
