It is "minds" like yours that ensures the biblical prophesy of doom. There should be no laws against crimes that don't harm anyone via violence. Why do debates have to always turn into shouting matches? I don't see a screen name associated with the vindictive hater, but she knows who she is, and quite frankly I am Irish/Cherokee, so at least a piece of me is truly American. The white side of me came to this country and took it from the American Indian, murdered men, women and children and threw them into mass graves, among other atrocities. Now roughly 150 to 200 years later, some of us seem to have such a holier than thou attitude about our standing in a very shakey world. You may want to watch how you talk to people and treat them, lest you get what you gave, accordingly. Who died and left you Queen of America, anyway? You sound like a six year old bully taunting another child on the playground. Don't you like to pull up to the drive through and get that sandwich you ordered at the speaker? I know I do... More people than you realize don't support him now. I've noticed that in past two years, much of his support has eroded and the reasons you state are some of them. People are fed up with this so called booming economy whose numbers are pumped up by number that have little or no real affect on the middle class and poor American. Remember old Gdub insisted on reforming laws so that Mexicans could legally work and become citizens here? Well don't kid yourself about him being a caring soul for the illegal immigrants from the south part of this continent. He was advised that that act would pad the real numbers. Now don't get me wrong, I love having the Mexicans here. Caucasians and blacks won't work in the fields or fast food restaurants anymore, and frankly, when I pull up at the drive through, I'd like to be able to get the sandwich I ordered at the speaker. That is one time I did want what Bush wanted, but for very different reasons. I said all of that to say this: Bush has no regard for this nation in the way that a president should, and neither does Cheney. How many people know that Halliburton moved offshore with all the billions they've made off of the blood bath in Iraq, so that they do not have to pay taxes on it? Those of you who truly believe that Cheney isn't affiliated with Halliburton anymore, are the same ones that believed and continue to believe every other BS lie he's perpetrated on the American people and the world. When you walk down the dogfood aisle (this isn't directed at you my friend...)and see the writing on the sack that says, "Newer! Better tasting!" do you believe it because it's written on the bag? Johnny, you are certainly entitled to your opinion, aren't you? How did you arrive at this conclusion? You certainly have no supporting documentation to prove what you say is true. And what are you saying to me? That I shouldn't believe what I do know about science? Many a minister today took science in school since it is a required credit, and there are more than a few of them who fly and experience other benefits of science and God on a daily basis. Just because most men in the middle east make their women wear veils and are oppressive doesn't mean that all men are. Just because there are extremists in the world does not mean that everyone who is comfortable with God will fly a plane into a building or become a suicide bomber. The problem with God and science and this ridiculous debate about it is a direct result of people like you who somehow have come to fear Him, because your brain cannot process two lines of thinking in a way that makes sense. I don't see how you can expect anyone to take you seriously when it is apparent that you don't know which thing you believe. Your commentary is all over the place...that is the real reason we are being slayed by both developed and third world countries academically---clo sed minds that do not process thoughts and information well, and yet still believe that nobody could possibly have anything worthwhile to offer the world if they do not believe the same backward way that you do. What planet are you living on? We had no deficit until Bush was president, who is peeing on your leg? You? That sounded like something a six year old would say on the playground, and isn't relative to anything topically discussed in this forum. And further more, I don't know what your age is, but I am assuming by your immature responses that you're young and plan to either one day have children, if you do not already. Bush has effectively robbed them of their heritage at a time when the baby boomers like me are getting ready to turn the tables on Social Security and every other program or resource in this country. The numbers are turning upside down, and the younger generations of this nation cannot possibly bear the financial burden inflicted by an idiot who can't use a simple calculator. Where is the money going to come from to pay for everything? Is Mr. Bush going to pull it out of his ass? Of course he isn't. He doesn't care. Hello Cowgirl, God is science and science is God. Math is God and God is math. I've never understood why that's so hard for most Christians to grasp. The truth of the matter is He doesn't live on a cloud, he doesn't have a long white beard and he has no throne. That is our perception (perception is a big old liar, too...)of Him because we seem to have the need to fit a square peg into a round hole. How ironic it is that we feel such a need to be descriptive regarding God, yet it is so taboo to some of us to do so in a realistically correct context. Science is real. It is God's own way to get what needs getting done, done. If science were not the basis for expaining how things happen and work, then we could never have put a man on the moon or a space shuttle in the sky, among other things we have "accomplished ." There would be no medicine, and no cures. There would be no fire, nothing to sit on, no air conditioning, no cars to drive and no printing press available for the mass production of The Holy Bible.
