USA rallies to beat Puerto Rico 6-5 in WBC
There is something just so "weirdly RIGHT" about David W. having a walk off game winner with Davey Johnson in the dugout. I know....I'm effin nuts. So sue me. But it's just something that struck me, for no reason at all. Go USA. (Mar 18, 2009 | post #11)

In the famous "game 7" against Wilt and the Lakers, everyone always remembers Willis coming out to play with his banged up knee. It was inspirational, but Clydes 36 points and, what was it, 20(?) assists didn't exactly hurt! A ferocious defender, maybe the best in his time. Certainly IN THE CONVERSATION. He was my favorite NBA player as a kid, the guy we all wanted to "be" when playing with our friends. It was definitely a different era, but I believe the truly great ones would make it in any era. I think Clyfe fits that bill. (Mar 16, 2009 | post #46)

Chandler, Robinson help Knicks top Timberwolves
I agree 100%! Jeez, imagine they beat Cleveland? And sneak in the back door for the playoffs? I'll tell you what, I didn't expect this team to be any where NEAR playoffs at this point in the season. Even if they don't make it, there is something good happening here..... (Mar 13, 2009 | post #3)

Wouldn't it be funny if Clyde "blew a fuse", got in a lift and pulled sown his #10 from the rafters? (Mar 13, 2009 | post #37)
