You keep talking around the massacres of Muslims. It was not a matter of friendship so much as a matter of humanity. I am sure as a Serb (?) you know whether or not the Muslims were being indiscriminately killed and buried, and whether that stopped/diminished with the NATO intervention. Normally I bow to your knowledge of that region, but in this case I wonder about your objectivity. I just do not see it the way you do. (Thursday | post #85)

When you sling mud at my country in the form of repeated outright lies, I make it my business. Too many times you've been called out to prove your points and failed; too many times you've been slam-dunked with hard-core facts and denied them or resorted to name-calling; too many times an effort towards civil conversation was made, only to have you get profane, use gutter language, and hurl insults. It is clear that "I don't care what you think" has been your mantra for many years. You'll never know how many people just humor you and get away from you as soon as they can, how many family members you've routinely offended, why you can't get a good job, and how much harm you've done to the country that nurtured you. Until you recognize how far off the mark your lifetime paradigms have been, you will continue to carry all kinds of hate unnecessarily. I tried to make a ridiculous extension of your logic to demonstrate that your conclusion was absurd, which I still think it was. I would think that as an ex ace reporter for a major metropolitan newspaper, you'd be a more accurate wordsmith. You in your fervor have a tendency to use absolutes, and that makes your comments seem absurd. I have been around a bit, too, and I cannot imagine how you'd reach a conclusion that people as a whole hate Russians. I have noted we have many in our community, and I have socialized with several and can find no reason to not like them. I have even spent time with Soviet General Officers and found them bright and fun. Why do you think most people hate Russians?
