Why are some of these Posts sounding like only Blacks voted for Obama? I recall when Clinton won two terms and Republicans were not this upset. Mad, but not like this. Heck Wed at work it was sad how quiet it was and the tension you could feel. Now if I would have seen this reaction with Clinton I would have not been surprised at work on Wed. Just off of observation and hearing certain things being said by Republicans alot of Republicans are mad because it was a black man that won. If that's not the bottom line then again where was this reaction when Clinton won his 2 terms?? **I speak of Clinton because he was the president when I became of age to vote. If I was wrong okay however I thought youwere speaking in ref to his campaign not his book so I do apologize. However for my experience whenever anyoneis of mix race and one parent is lack..society has labled them as black. First of all are you really trying to compare the two? Plus trust me when Is ay I was not offended and I am a black American and alot of my friends were not either in ref to the comment Don Imus made because he wasn't the first and he will not be the last to make such comments so why get upset anymore. Do you really think the people you overheard talking was serious? I have heard people joke about that same thing...it's a joke. I am SURE you didn't hear the whole conversation. Please don't go there. Also ther are some blacks who didn't vote because they didnt like either men, there are some blacks who voted for McCain. You do know that some people didn't vote for Barrack because his is black? Just like I know some voted for him because he is. Some of us have to be "man" enough to admitt that they actually thought Barrack plan was good or somewhat better then McCain's but because he was black they didn't vote for him. Driver hits three pedestrians, flees scene
We don’t know what happened because some dumb **** didn’t stop. First I saw the story on TV and I couldn’t tell what kind of area it was. Actually the one or two houses they did show weren’t bad. As far as how the person on TV was acting what do you expect…did you expect no emotions??? Far as anyone knows the drive may have been drunk or high. Also if the person that hit the kids was scared they could have driven around the corner or somewhere & called the police and told the police where they were and that they felt safer not stopping and waited for the police. I don’t care how bad an area is that is NO FREAKING reason to leave human beings lying in the street!!!!!!!!!! (Oct 3, 2008 | post #5)
