As far as I can see, there are alot of people who could be blamed here..Adam's mother, she knew he was on probation for aggravated assault & still let him go..I think he is 16..Noone that age should be anywhere but home that late at night anyways..The Osceola county sheriff's office, if they did receive calls, then they should have investigated..The guy whose house it was, why in hell did he let TEENAGERS "party" at his house? Is he stupid or what.. And the other parents who let their kids out that night, You should know better than to think your kid saying to you "There is a party I want to go to after homecoming". You should not let the kids out at night..Homecoming ended at about 11 or so.. The kids should have all went home to bed....So, put the blame where you must, but don't call the kettle black unless you can say your kids wasn't there..I know I can.. I have one more thing to say..Actually it is anther situation of parents trying to be friends with their kids instead of parenting..Yesterd ay morning, the 18yr old neighbor boy was found in his driveway, near death, just laying there.. ( it is suspected that he laid there for at least 4 hrs.)he was rushed to the hospital w/ a fractured skull & was overdosed on alcohol & drugs.. I know from watching my neighborhood (as we all should) that his parents actually drink w/ him & have parties w/ him & his friends.. What the hell is the parents thinking..He has a small child too..I don't know the exact details of that situation, but I do know it's a true shame......The law has been over there may times, but they can't seem to catch them..I hate to say it but I believe the law enforcement is scared of teenagers these days too.. We need to work together w/ them & stop this insanity...Plz, before another young person dies.....At a senseless cause....We need to start up neighborhood watches & not be afraid to get involved in other peoples lives when it comes to breaking the law..If someone is breaking it Please report it again & again until the law enforcement does something.....  (Nov 3, 2009 | post #33)

I have a 19 yr old & a 16 yr old.. As long as they live in my house I will know what they are doing..I am asking all the parents of my kids friends to talk to me & unite to know what is going on..I even take turns with the parents to go for a ride & check up on their kids as well as mine..My kids are floored many times to find out that I actually know more than they think..They are always saying"Mom how do you know about that" I just hope that the real adults in this world can take it back over..As far as the law helping out..It comes down to alot of work on the parents part too. Don't be afraid to call & call & call if need be to the law enforcement & ask them to intervene in any situation.I have done this & have been told by many officers that they understand what I feel & can only do so much(true) but they are willing to help..I say parents,,LET'S TAKE BACK OUR STREETS!!!!!AND CONTROL OF OUR KIDS!!!!  (Nov 3, 2009 | post #32)

I agree with alot being said here..It is the parents fault for letting their underage kids go to any party..It is also the man who had the party(Although the reports say he was sleepin).I can't understand how anyone who has that many kids in their house can sleep..I have 2 teenagers & can't sleep until they are..I think the word we are looking for here is probably "passed out", not sleeping. As far as any of the parents, the key word "party" should have deterred anyone from letting their kids, who goto high school, go there..Cuz if they are in high school they are obviously under 21, which means it is illegal for drinking.(And we all know by now that the only parties these days that these kids goto involves drinking).I agree with, concerned, in that parents need to unite against the teenage population..Back in the day kids didn't go anywhere or to other peoples houses until phone calls were made & parents agreed on what would be goin on at the houses..Why is that stopped..????Paren ts are wanting to be friends with their kids & are afraid of them.. Don't let the kids out without knowing exactly where they are goin, who they are gonna be with, & ya know, get into the car & go check up on them..It doesn't hurt to be nosey..True, they don't like it but they will thank you when they are adults & have kids of their own..The laws are not letting parents do what taught us right from wrong.. Are you insane...I have heard nothing but trouble in st. cloud over that last year..Some of which has actually affected my own family.. What planet are they on to say such B.S... If you want criminal activity just sit out here in a chair on the weekdays or weekends & listen.. U can hear it all the time.. The helicopters, sirens, & stuff I see... You know..I have 2 teenage children. I am known by them as a mean mother(if u ask them that is) And why do they say that, u ask? Its because I won't let them go where I believe that trouble will or could start..My son could have gone to that party too, but I flat out said no.I also warned him if I caught him anywhere near there that I would call the cops myself.. I can't understand the fact that an adult was there( sleeping no less) with 30 or so teenagers in his house..What the hell was he thinking..I could have told you it was bad news from the start.What is with parents these days..U are not ur childrens friend, u are their parent.It is ok to say no and mean it..Who cares what they think of you.. I am so pissed about the lack of parenting in this day & age.. I just read in the paper about a 14 yr old grl whose mother allowed her to goto a theme park w/ a 31 yr old man. She also allowed the child to hang out w/ this guy & now he's in jail on statutory rape & sexual assault charges..Not that it is ok that he did this, but the mother should have never let the child out of her sight..I hear more & more stories of parental neglect & it just aggravates me to no end...BE PARENTS NOT FRIENDS!!!!!!!!!!! This mother of the suspect should have never let him go there if she knew like she claims that there was tension between him & the other kid..Common sense tells u that..He also was on probation,,It's illegal for him to have a weapon on probation or to be out that late at night..I just don't get it.....??????  (Oct 30, 2009 | post #14)

I am horrified of these senseless killings.. My kids knew the kids involved also..It is rumored by all the kids of Osceola county that if you knew these kids that you are now receiving death threats just for knowing them.. My kids have told me of their friends who are in this situation..I really don't want this to turn out to be an all out war of inexperienced teenagers takin laws & opinions into their own hands...Parents need to stand TOGETHER against violence & against these teenagers..Know what your kids are doing & who they are with, & even if they hate you forever, don't let them go places that these events are happening..It's for their safety & our peace of mind...Please..... .........  (Oct 29, 2009 | post #3)

Well, FYI yourself..I was just letting the people out here know she had the baby.I wasn't making anything of it smartass..And she should be in jail like anyone else who has committed a crime....If it were anyone else that wasn't pregnant then they would have been jailed.. If she was so worried about being in there & being pregnant, she shouldn't have committed the crime to begin with..And one other thing, you can't compare this crime with "kids stuff".. It was several hundred counts of theft...With this economy the way it is, no one should waste money like that..People on here have said before & I will say it again.."It would have been different if she had used any of it on her kids" But she didn't..She used it on herself & her husband...  (Oct 6, 2009 | post #89)

I have talked to a bunch of people that knew her from baseball & they are totally shocked. For your info, & you don't deserve to even know her, My sister-in-law is just fine. The person who committed the crime has been caught. It was evidence that lead law enforcement to him, ( just as it did in Barbara's case). He is a 17 yr old kid..
