New Search Planned for Missing Woman

God bless this woman and her baby.I cannot believe that it is national news! This reminds me of a woman,19, who was gruesomely murdered in her home, her body lying across an open freezer with blood, gutts, and baby~she had been stabbed like 72 times. Drugs had been involved too. I knew her and she was married and a nice person, etc. Sad. Still, after 32 years, I still look at the house on main street in the town and think of her everytime I pass by. The murderer lived a half mile from me and he walked past my place with a bloody rag the night he killed her. He was just a young guy too.He went to prison for double murder and the inmates killed him! I pray that this family finds peace no matter what happens. I am listening to Q92 and I cannot believe the outpouring of people's help to look for this woman.That is wonderful. Hope she is ok...  (Jun 21, 2007 | post #1)

Obviously, you gave your honest opinion and we all are entitled to that, BUT the way in which you wrote it is just rude and inconsiderate of those people who have died out there so that YOU (yes, you) may live! Also cruel to the living relatives and loved ones of those brave soldiers. Why do you call it a scam war? Did I miss something?? I personally do not believe in war, period. I am totally against it 100%.I am not gonna come on here and hurt others with my thoughtlessness though. Man Accused Of Raping Hancock County Woman

Why am I not surprised that this assault happened outside or in relation to a BAR?! Bars are up and down rt 30, and I lived on rt 30 over 13 years... I once had a man come to my door bleeding and wanting help because he had stab wounds! I have also seen wreck after wreck b/c of drinking and driving. I have seen a guy stop and throw a girl out of his car and she hung onto the car, crying and sounding very drunk.They were fighting, but he came back for her and I witnessed the fighting.I have seen a little bit of everything living there all that time. In addition, I have been there, done it, when it comes to going to the bar and being so drunk that I did not recall what I did what was said, etc. MY POINT? Simple. Remove the drug(alcohol) and ask if it would have happened. I bet it would not have. I have seen many people in the bars~ under 18 served, gals meeting guys their parents would not permit these gals to see, and drunks grinding and feeling...grabbing where they shouldn't, etc., etc...So I have to question what EXACTLY WAS going on? Do the females flirt, fall all over, push their bodies into, and/or kiss guys? You better believe it! They turn into someone else with the booze. SO do guys. SO I just say to all this, stay out of bars, do not get drunk in public, and watch what you do to invite trouble or advances.Always have a buddy, especially at night. Granted, some guys ARE very aggressive, especially after drinking.I am NOT saying that in this case the gal was a tease or enabled the advance in any way, ok? Just pointing out what I have seen and it is quite disgusting actually~the pushing of gals on guys and then the guy does something and the gal freeks. County Battles Mosquito Infestation

I reported this mosquito problem weeks ago. I live only about a quarter of a mile from the "blue lake," where these pesky pests originated,if you go straight through the woods.My house sits right on the highest peak in Hancock County too, so we get all the pollution from WTI and Weirton Steel, and now this annoying problem. When it started becoming spring, I noticed bugs, nats, mosquitos or whatever else they are called, in the daytime! They swarm and in the evening it is so bad that I do not go out in the yard.This has been and still is a big issue for me and my pets.I have a dog and a cat and both of them have been constantly digging and scratching to fight off these big biters! Moreover, my 1 year old grandson has been bitten all up and down his legs just going our on the porch to play. We cannot go out without getting bit. Also,I have never seen any swarms here, ever.This is the worst my husband ever recalls too, and he grew up here. I think that the spraying has helped, but we have huge, tall pine trees and when they have sprayed, I get all kinds of em in the trees, like they are hiding in those pines. No picnics in our yard this summer!lol I just hope that the problem goes away soon.  (Jun 4, 2007 | post #1)
