I always thought paying taxes covered our trash being picked up by the city. So why is it we now have to spend $20 on a box of malden city labeled trash bags, that only containe 10 bags. That $2 a bag. I am also confussed to who is suppose to purchase these bags. My mother told me the landlord is suppose to supply thier tenants with the bags? Its seems it has that trash removal has become a utiltity exspense. We have to pay for our trash to be removed, by purchasing these bags. If we dont buy the bags and put our trash in them. Our trah will not be taken by the city. But it also seems city hall, is covering it self by not making us have to purchase the bags at city hall. or given a citation on our barrels, thier just not taken our trash. Because as I understand it, and I may be wrong. That if malden residents, the trash removal is now a utilty. then malden needs to offer its residents alternatives to thier trash removal. If residents reseive a sitation for falure to put thier trash in these malden city bags. The resident can actually sue the city, for falour to offer other alternatives. So is there a tax write off on these bags? Why wasnt the malden residents aloud to vote on this new change? There is alot of unanswered questions to this. Choice (Abortion) is the number one cause of death in America
I wouldn’t go so far as to say it’s the leading cause of infant deaths in America. I would have to say child abuse is the leading cause of infant death in America. I think abortion is a personal choice, if you feel you can’t be a good parent or unable to provide for the child. Yes, there are other options like adoption which I would personally consider over having an abortion. But that’s me, I personally would have a difficult time emotionally with the choice of abortion. I have 6 children and I’m pregnant with my 7th, and the pressure I get from doctors and family on getting an abortion is terrible. But I’m standing firm in my belief and having my child. I’m not rich, I’m 41 years old and I wasn’t planning on having any more children this is an unplanned pregnancy. I believe that life should not be taken away, no one should have that power. I’v also known a woman who worked, but lost her job due to company cut backs. She is an older woman, harder to find a job at her age. She is now in foreclosure with the bank on her home. Do you know a single person that has no other income receives only $150 dollars for the month in food stamps. A parent with several children with no income may receive the max of $800 food stamps a month. A working single parent that has income may receive $200 in food stamps a month. For someone to use their food stamps that actually needs them on junk food, is a damb fool. I worked as a financial intake worker for emergency services to low income people. I have seen families starve that were not eligible for food stamps because they worked but had high bills and mortgage payments. Do to the fact our economy sucks right now. The rising prices of food and gas makes it hard for anyone now a days. I’m a single mother raising 6 children, I work and I get foodstamps, not a lot but anything helps now a days. And guess what I’m not an immigrant and neither is my grandparents. There is a lot more immigrants today then there was 10 years ago. But have you seen their living conditions? Over crowded, and they work for minimum wage or less. it’s the companies fault not theirs that they are willing to work for less, then an American would. They need to eat and live too. You clearly don’t come from Malden! The population is a mix of white, Asian, Brazilian, Spanish and black. Our crime is up due to the high levels of teens on drugs.. With in 6 months of living in Malden, I have teenagers and found there is several drug houses that the local teens hang out in. unfortunately the Malden police are slow at doing anything about this problem.
