Police are investigating after Pulaski County woman shot her husband to death early Wednesday, and police say she acted in self-defense. Authorities were called to a residence on Highway 196 in Nancy around 12:30 a.m. They say 48-year-old Tamara Wilson shot her husband, 49-year-old William Frankie Wilson, several times with a 22-caliber rifle. She went to a family member's home to call police. Meanwhile a relative took her husband to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Pulaski County sheriff's department says there is a history of domestic violence with the family, including a charge of domestic assault and two domestic violence orders against William Frankie Wilson. Police also say Wilson had threatened his wife several times recently. Deputies are still investigating, but for now believe Tamara Wilson was acting in self defense. She has not been charged. Well said Christy, every establishment has a few rough patches here and there. We frequent The Harbor on numerous occasions, you have been terrific, every time we are there, and thanks if you had anything to do with getting Budweiser back on tap, tell Bobby no fried foods deleivered to the houseboat, hope to see you this weekend.
