Martinez has eyes set on governor's office
the supreme court doesn't care. they're all lawyers, prosecutors. all part of an inner circle. the only time they (the supreme court) break barriers is when a lawyer is publicly called into question. (10 hrs ago | post #39)
Martinez has eyes set on governor's office
how about the fact that she wastes your money pursing cases that have no merit. prosecuting cases that have no probable cause. why have investigators in the office that don't investigate; paying a person for not doing the job they were hired to do? and you really think she is going to take office and control spending??? she doesn't even talk a good game. do not kid yourself. she's beyond incompetent. strange enough threatening a kid with prosecution if they do not go to "her school" is in a sense extortion. so you're thanking a criminal ;-) (10 hrs ago | post #37)

while i may appreciate that you took the time to reply to a women's basketball article for that shows that you had some interest i must say NMSU has done well these last few years. not to speeak ill of UTEP, but when UTEP was in the WAC they didn't reach the conference final. NMSU has done it more than once and loss to former national powerhouse Louisiana Tech. am i the only one who knows about the "Lady Techsters"??? they opened up this season playing Divison I schools, on the road no less, and yet no respect? they played a good game against UNM, yes a loss but is UNM a cupcake team? compare Coach Spence's record and the teams he's played against with the prior coaches before him and their records and teams they played against. there really isn't a comparison. coach spence and coach adams at utep both have seriously turned around the womens basketball programs at their schools. programs that were in near shambles when they got the reigns. finally i don't know the reason for scheduling new mexico highlands, but i for one am glad because i get the chance to see ashley godfrey play in a collegiate game. so for me, no i really am not supporting either team i'm there to see ashley do something she had only wished for and she is now living that dream. so if that's cupcake then its just desserts ;-) (21 hrs ago | post #2)
Prep schedule could see shake up (5:55 p.m.)
hmmm let's make cuts in all sports, but at the same time lets make spirit a sport...excuse me does that make any sense at all? oh no i'm not disregarding cheer and dance my point is they are saying let's cut sports, but at the same time lets add another. does that make any sense whatsoever??? that's a school saying we're overcrowded so let's reduce our student population, but let's add more students. Contractor indicted on fraud charges
before i get judged insane, i am comparing two diferent cases. i should've used this man's name because i realize just saying "man" is confusing. (Monday Dec 14 | post #13)
Contractor indicted on fraud charges
question...this guy basically stole a lot of money which it says is a felony and he's looing at a 40 year sentence. as the article says "and left the state." ummmm...susana martinez is prosecuting a case where the man truly did nothing is charged with a felony to which he may face 1 1/2 years. she had him arrested charged as a fugitive with violating a court order that didn't exist. she sent him a false summons trying to have him arrested again, if he had failed to show for his actual arraignment date. now i honestly do not know what this man in this article did, but i do know because i have seen all the documents that she herself has and it is truly amazing how fraudulent she is. so this man is not arrested and he left the state and he's not a fugitive? oh wait that's right any other crime people get treated like humans but when she takes on a case that supposedly involves a miinor then its "what we have laws" and to hell with everything else. i get it now. her and her protect the kids rampage. hey i'm not faulting it, but geez it doesn't matter how strongly you believe in protecting children it does not allow you to break the law. it definitely does not allow you to conspire and commit perjury. for the record the man is charged with stalking and from listening to the grand jury testimony i'd have to say it's kinda hard to stalk someone at events that never took place. i just find that questionable. Scott brothers getting dogs back
the state can't charge them. well new mexico can't charge them because the case was dismissed with prejudice. texas can charge them and the united states federal government can charge them, but both would have to acquire evidence of which the dona ana da's office did not handle properly and if the federal case goes in the scotts favor then this is truly over. by the way i personally have strong evidence that the DA and her office obviously can't read or if they can then their comprehension level is extremely low. so i can honestly say that all of them maybe scored a 400 on the verbal portion of the SAT just for signing their name and that's IF they got that right ;) (Monday Dec 14 | post #23)
'Striptease' ad leads to Chaparral woman's arrest
i'm confused...as someone above said "it's her body" which reminded me that's the same statement used for abortions...so if abortions are legal why can't prostitution be legal?????? how in the world is prostitution a crime? if a woman wants to give it up for money and a man wants to pay for it what's the big deal? please do not respond with some craziness about STDs because if it were legalized then there would be tons of safeguards because big business would regulate the hell out of it so they could make a profit. then there would be all kinds of groups taking hold of every aspect of this business plus while you make that silly argument please remember that one reason people supported abortions was so that women wouldn't do it themselves and hurt themselves. prostitution would be taxed, regulated. every "worker" would have to be clinically healthy. then the big joke would be that the US government would be the ultimate pimp. speaking of, prostitution isn't a federal crime. it's a state crime. which is why it's legal in nevada and last i checked nevada does not lead the nation in STDs that would be washington DC...what a freaking coincidence :-D http://www.myfoxdc .com/dpp/health/dc -rated-number-1-fo r-stds-111809 (Monday Dec 14 | post #30)
KDBC 4 News lays off half its staff

NM jury finds dancer's rights were violated
actually just pay attention to the news and see how many prosecutors have come under fire. cops violate their oaths all the time and it's "testilie " "testilying " :D i know what you mean. what's sad about the whole thing is perjury is only an offense with the accused. the witnesses, the prosecutors, and the officers can LIE all they want to and never face any type of punishment. maybe a verbal reprimand from the judge, but their job or incaceration or a civil suit...nope they get to enjoy "absolute immunity" most of the time. see they have to get caught violating a person's constitutional rights and it has to be clear and convincing evidence. not just spoken word. the legal system is built to serve one group of people - prosecutors. they are a class unto themselves. as i said in another thread there is no such thing as equal protection. NM jury finds dancer's rights were violated
um they are strippers....what could they possibly be hiding in what little they wear??? on that same note...was it a strip search? i am not trying to make light of the situation, but honestly if you take what i am suggesting literally then the officer did violate her rights. how can you possibly have probable cause to search a naked person? the officer in court would say, "i have reason to believe she was hiding a weapon." and a reasonable person would have to ask "where, she's practically naked..." now some small amount of drugs hiding down the butt crack who knows...point is the officer had to see it before he "assumed " or had "probable cause" to search her. the search warrant has to clearly state what places or things can be searched and oftimes the words "plain sight" are used so if they went outside the parameters of the warrant then yes her rights were violated.
