Why not enlist the help from some volunteers to oversee and walk the campus 24/7 a couple weeks before game time. I'm sure they could get a few poor suckers to hang around on cold nights waiting for some sort of malfeasance. It's a shame about PHS's field though, I've seen what they have done to improve it, and it is mighty impressive. I'll bet the vandals got a rush out of trashing the place though. I haven't made that commute in many years. I use to live in South Pasadena and know all about those whining crybabies that reside there. To hell with them and their unimportant stupid little hamlet. I say forget tunneling, just get a dozen or so Bulldozers abreast and get down to it. Just avoid Bristol Farms and the Shakers Restaurant across the street. Everything else can fall by the wayside. Two men shot at North Hollywood synagogue
"Police were unsure of a motive", I'll give you a motive, hate filled anti semitic Jew haters. And what the hell are they questioning a young black kid for. You would have to look far and wide to find a black man with a Jew hating complex. This is white mans crime, hands down. Unless it's a case of mistaken identity. But it looks like whomever shot these two men were quite aware of whom they were targeting. "The judge in the case wrote that just because the money was allocated, does not mean the MTA is committed to actually building the tunnel." And all of us that are in the "know", and that have been around a few years, realize exactly what that means. And what is that Boys and Girls, that's right, that puppy ain't never going through. More rhetoric, more delays, more lawsuits, yakety yak and the beat goes on. Fifty years from now, if were all still around, they will still be debating the 710 extension. YAWN !! Masked gunman robs Altadena gas station
This station was just robbed a couple weeks ago. But then again this Arco lies right in the middle of the DMZ at Fair Oaks and Woodbury, so what do you expect. Lets face it, like all business's that reside in the Pasadena Rwanda section of the city they need armed security with loaded shotguns at all times. Obama declares swine flu a national emergency
I've heard said that people that don't take the HINI flu shots could be considered terrorists for putting everyone else at risk. It's even been rumored that "they" (the government) my actually enforce mandatory injections on the populace to try and curb this influenza. If that being the case, I reckon that forced identification or the Mark of the Beast can't be far behind. Personally speaking, as it stands right now, if everyone gets the shots, why in hell would I have to take it ? because the percentages of me getting the virus would be drastically diminished if everyone gets immunized. The reason Manny went to the showers early the other night after being relived in left field was he just wanted to wash away the agony of da feet. You see Manny had to run a couple of steps forward and make a shoetop catch in the 8th inning. He didn't hang around to watch his teammates blow the game because he knows a loser when he sees one. It don't matter to Manny anyway, hes as much as said so when he was with Boston. "It's just a game, get over it, besides theirs always next year". Oh that Manny,...what a guy.
