Sorry, 3TOES, a limited slip is the same a positive traction differential and drives both wheels equally but still allows a certain amount of slippage for cornering. A locking differential allows slippage up to a point where it will "lock up" and drive both wheels equally. The differentials on most cars do not have the limited slip or locking feature and are referred to as "open" differentials. (Feb 24, 2010 | post #148)
