thats why i moved down to graham st when we found out we were having our first 5 years ago. much safer strett...most of the time. i kinda get a kick out of people riding my **** on whalom. i admit, i go about 35, but these clowns want to go 45-50, which is too much for that road. as far as bus stops go...i agree there is no reason to stop at every house. in middle school, i had to walk about 1/2 mile to a group bus stop. in hs, the distance was about a mile right to the school. you had to live at least 2 miles away to get bus service.  (Monday Dec 21 | post #15)

enough of this peaceful prtest **** . time to start hitting them where it hurts. they have been holding us hostage, time to return the favor. start by torching the john fitch location. if that doesnt start to give them a message, let's have some "face-to-face " meetings with the execs. we can start bills, and make amendments, but in the end, the ovt will never really help us out. i agree with the poster that stated if this was boston, holy hell would break loose. it's time politicians realize that there are residents outside of 128.  (Tuesday Dec 15 | post #55)

no attack taken. i'm just stating that the new development over at tritown will net many more children to the school system, yet none of them will pay taxes to cover that. plus, with the police being over there all the time...... more or less, i am just stating that i would like our services budget to be where it needs to be without taxes jumping too high. govt spending is done totally wrong, yet there is no way to change it. lose-lose situation.  (Nov 18, 2009 | post #11)

i was referring to police, medical, and fire as well. budget needs help, and i hate to have my taxes keep going up, but the politicians feel it's better to vote in a raise than help struggling towns. i already think my $3500 tax rate is high for my property, esp since the house across the street is $800-$1000 less. i tried calling about it awhile back, and they said that "there is no set formula, and i would not be able to figure it out."  (Nov 18, 2009 | post #8)
