Military Spouses in the Abbs Valley Area?
My husband was transferred out of the 304th MP Unit to the 336th MP BN that left in September for Baghdad, Iraq. Just curious to see if there are any other military spouses in the area.... (Nov 6, 2009 | post #1)
Wow, my husband just went to Iraq in September, I wish he had that medallion. What a nice story. :) (Nov 5, 2009 | post #1)

Oh and there was a Member's Only sign, but I don't know what that was about...might've just turned away people under 21. I didn't have to be a member, so I would go ahead and try it out. ;) (Nov 5, 2009 | post #3)
Annie's Sports Bar? Was that the place that was formerly Jazz's? Is it the one across from the Consignment shop on the Avenue, headed towards Bluefield, VA? If that's the place I'm thinking of, they do sell food, alcohol, and have holdiday parties. They have an ATM, digital jukebox, some slot machines, and friendly patrons and staff. The place is small, so it's perfect if you're wanting to go in a relax without the crowds. (Nov 5, 2009 | post #2)
Actually, a lot of the buses do have cameras on them, but unfortunatly, they don't necessarily tape the bus rides. My son and daughter were being hit and slapped on the bus and ofcourse when I called the Dept. of Transportation (AKA Bus Garage in Princeton) they said that they don't usually tape the bus rides, so there was no evidence of my kids being hit. They really should invest in whatever it takes to tape every bus ride. So many kids are being hurt and picked on constantly and the bus drivers are not able to pay attention to the kids, because they have to drive. Maybe they should get another adult on buses to help the drivers out and supervise. I'm surprised these bus drivers don't have more accidents, that's a job I couldn't do. (Nov 5, 2009 | post #2)
