I know what you mean... If the Cymbalta doesn't work, ask your doctor about Imipramine. It is an older antidepressant that has worked very well for me. I started taking it in 1994 and it has worked wonders. (Apr 6, 2008 | post #82)

I don't understand what you asked your doctor for. Was it: five 5/500 hydrocodones or five 500 hydrocodones a month? Since there is no such drug as a 500 hydrocodone, I assume you mean the first. That dose is so low that your doctor probably guesses that you don't really need the hydrocodone for pain. No point in taking a chance with an addictive drug when you don't need to. I do wish however that adults could legally obtain small amounts of codiene each month. We probably could if so many people didn't abuse it so much. If the government let people have small amounts some would be selling theirs to others and soon there would be a mess.... (Apr 6, 2008 | post #58)

It surprises me that your doctor would put you on an antidep. for anxiety only. Most anti's are not pure anxiety drugs, they are mainly for depression, but can also help if anxiety is involved. Ativan, Xanax, are drugs for anxiety, these are benzodiazapines. The first psychiatrist I went to did nothing much for me. I stayed with him for one year and finally realized he was not going to help me, he didn’t know what to do. I found another doctor, an American. My first was an Arab with English as a second language. I always tell people to stay away from foreign doctors; it is tough enough for a doctor to understand your problems even when they speak English as primary. My second doctor had me straightened out in just a couple of weeks. I wasted all that time with a bad doctor. If your current doctor doesn't help you with in a couple of months...find another, preferably an American. Don't give up because help is out there, you only need to find it!! (Mar 23, 2008 | post #6)

And there are Americans the think water boarding is such a terrible thing!! We are dealing with people who have no souls. They kill women and children at will and we sit and argue about 10 minutes of running water across a killers face. This is why we will lose America, because we are stupid!! (Mar 13, 2008 | post #312)
Whitehouse.com. paid the man $10,000 to take multiple tests, and if he passed they were going to pay $100,000. He failed with two different testing professionals... The man is lying. And I am not for Obama, but that's what the tests showed!! (Mar 10, 2008 | post #875)

PLEASE, give me an honest answer to this. (Mar 9, 2008 | post #1005)
