LADIES, i'm getting tired of you all today shaving off all of your public hairs.

I remember back in the day it was a big deal in a movie (I think maybe it was Revenge of the Nerds) to see a girls "bush".. . now everyone is shaved.. I know a lot of older men (over 40) who say they prefer unshaved, MAYBE trimmed, but NOT totally bald!  (4 hrs ago | post #37)

Ummm... I know women who live in "the country" in lily white areas, and their upset because their neighbors shoot off THEIR GUNS at midnight on new years eve. There was a whole thread about this on a COOKING message board of all places! A HUGE number of women all reported the same thing!  (9 hrs ago | post #43)

Is EVERY Black Who TELLS THE TRUTH About Whites Reverse Racists?

Malcolm X did not ralize he had been wrong about whites, rather (from what I understand) he felt that SOME white people (SOME, not ALL, not even a MAJORITY of white people, most likely only a FEW) were NOT racist, and were willing to stand up for what was right. Sorry, but I am around white people all the time, who assume that because I have the same skin color as them I think the same way, and who feel free to make racist remarks in front of me. Anyone who claims that racism does not exist among white people is not living in the real world.  (Thursday Dec 31 | post #40)

---------SHOCKING (Must Read BW)!!!!

This is true among ALL women killed by their partners. In 1959 my fathers mother left her husband (my grandfather). Shortly after he came to the apartment she was staying at with her family WITH A SHOTGUN and killed her. He was not even given jail time for the crime, but instead spent less than a year in a hospital, because they claimed it was A CRIME OF PASSION, not premeditated. Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't the fact that HE BROUGHT A SHOTGUN prove it was premeditated. The statistics may show that Black women are disproportionatly victims of partner HOMICIDE, but DOMESTIC VIOLENCE is universal. I used to work at a domestic violence shelter, and the women were of all races, mostly poor women. During training they told us that domestic violence exists at almost the same rate across the board, regardless of race or socioeconomic status. I just think domestic violence is more often swept under the rug when the abuser is a wealthy, white male, which is why it seems as if Black men are more often abusive.  (Nov 16, 2009 | post #51)

Very sad story! I get so upset when I see stories about women who harm their children because some of us are desperate to be mothers and have not been blessed with a child, while others are given God's greatest gift and abuse the privilege. So sad... poor little girl!  (Nov 16, 2009 | post #48)
