Former OU Great Wayman Tisdale Dies at 44
Spankey, Doc and John...you guys are douchebags. Enough said about you clowns. Wayman Tisdale was the epitome of everything good as an athlete and a person. I had the good fortune of meeting him once in the mid-80's. He was extremely gracious, giving and sincere. The encounter with him left an indelible mark on me, not only as an athlete, but a human being. Wayman was a class act in every sense and my thoughts and prayers are with his family. I was merely giving an observation. The reason I was there was because I was working...I realize I didn't state that before, but I also didn't realize every cretin on the board would be that critical. I'm fairly certain that anyone of you who happened to live close to where something like this incident happened, you would probably go out to see what's going on. What was really weird was the Bixby police didn't have the area cordoned off. Obviously, there were a ton of police cars and a fire truck, but there were people standing around watching...including me. Can't believe they didn't have barriers to keep people out of harms way. The tragic thing in this case is that this repulsive cretin will never experience the pain and agony that inflicted on that poor child...no matter how time he serves in jail. For the rest of his life, he will get 3 squares a day, get to watch TV and have a bed to sleep on.
