Steve Waid: Payback is part of racing and NASCAR knows it
aah..Payback/revenge is alive and well in all of us! Hey, we're still looking for Bin Laden ain't we? Dale E. (himself) would run right over that skunk! (3 hrs ago | post #2)
Danica's a big lure for NASCAR to catch new fans
Nascar seems to be trading it's tradional image, lore and place in history for the almighty buck! I guess all the crew members and their families have to eat and pay their bills too, but it's just a shame to admit that letting this little commercial actress/bimbo get in a Cup car will somehow boost the sport to a higher level. Dale Jr. pines for more racing - roanoke.com
Jr. seems to have become. Nascar's Mr. Congeniality. He's got to shake that label and get back to some good hard racin' (Sunday Nov 22 | post #3)
Jimmy Johnson and Rick Hendrick: Are They Killing NASCAR?
Why don't they quit beating around the bush and buy ol' no. 3 and be done with all the jacking around! Maybe it will give Jr some attitude! It will keep those pit boys on their toes (Wednesday Nov 18 | post #1)
Stewart calls Earnhardt Jr. a 'no-talent s.o.b.'
Whoyakidding: Wow! Ya got a lot of things about this situation right, but . . Jr is getting a lot of good equipment these days and he's still not doing much with it - that is undeniable! The lingering rumors that 'the son of god' hasn't got enough talent - coming from a Nascar champion, just might be true! (Monday Nov 16 | post #7)
France critical of TV coverage
Why doesn't the "politician " France show some balls and be a little more specific! What exactly was said that he didn't like and by who!! What are we, friggin mind readers! (Monday Nov 9 | post #2)
Danica Patrick could be NASCAR's new band-aid, but for how long?
Just talking about Danica has given NASCAR millions of dollars worth of free publicity - they must love it. She'll probably never get in a 'Go Daddy' Cup race but I'd like to see her get in a Truck race where she could do some real bumping and grinding! (Sunday Nov 8 | post #4)
Danica Patrick to Drive in NASCAR Nationwide Series in 2010?
She's an aggressive talker - I'll give you that! But in stock cars, BS walks! (Saturday Nov 7 | post #9)
Danica Patrick to Drive in NASCAR Nationwide Series in 2010?
Jr is going through a rough time in his career but to compare Danica's driving talent to his is a f**kin joke! I don't think her 'infomercial playboy roadshow' is going to carry much weight with the NASCAR crowd (Saturday Nov 7 | post #4)
NASCAR hopes to avoid another Talladega mess
A good point..why have a Championship and the year long collection of points towards it anyway. Run it like Golf or Tennis - Every race/tournament stands on it's own with appropiate prize money - at the end of the year, the guy with the most prize money is the best driver..period! Tiger Woods makes that system work just fine (Tuesday Nov 3 | post #4)
Waltrip parked for aggressive driving at Talladega
Waltrip's sponsors must have told him to do something..anything! to get his name in the paper - his driving certainly won't do it..until he becomes Danica's Stock Car driving coach, of course! (Saturday Oct 31 | post #10)
Earnhardt losing streak reaches 53
I'd like to see some fearless reporter would sit down with Richard Childress and try to get his honest assessment of Jr's real driving talent, his always present 'bad luck' and what he thinks about the whole deal! Of course, in today's media run world, there's very little hard truth that anyone will say - that's the real shame of it all. Maybe they could go to Junior Johnson for his thoughts - I don't think that old wiskey runner would be scared to give us some truth! (Oct 26, 2009 | post #6)
Michael Waltrip involved in car accident
Ha Ha !! Hilarious and correct! (Oct 22, 2009 | post #3)
Dale Earnhardt Jr.: Calling All Armchair Psychiatrists
Jr. seems to be a man who has ended up with no defining personality. We certainly knew what his dad was all about and we know what Tony Stewart is all about - but Jr. seems to have melted down into a kind of Michael Waltrip type character who sort of muddles through doing a lot of commercials but has no identity on the racetrack.
