Mayors to announce plans to land new hospital in Stow
Robart was told that there would be a ribbon cutting and the media would have cameras for the hospital opening. He couldn't resist missing out on that photo op! He may not know anything about limited government, not wasting our tax dollars and eminent domain abuses, but by golly, the man certainly is the most photographed ever in the history of Cuyahoga Falls. "Say cheese!" (Tuesday Nov 17 | post #77)
Light 'em Up, Fox News - by Ted Nugent
Nowhere in the Constitution is there a mention of a separation of church and state. What it does say is that the government cannot create a state sponsored church. It drives me crazy when people start getting peanutty about a separation of church and state. The only place that statement has been invoked is by the mainstream media. And just because the mainstream media repeats it over and over doesn't mean that it's going to magically appear in the US Constitution any time soon. Gee, wonder what the founding fathers would've thought about this green movement and the government worship of Gaia? Why isn't anyone outraged that this neo-pagan agenda is being forced down our throats? (Sunday Nov 8 | post #523)
Light 'em Up, Fox News - by Ted Nugent
I think I'm mostly tired of people thinking you have to be either a Democrat or Republican. I'm a Constitutionalist with some libertarian leanings. Both parties are completely far away from what I think about personal freedoms, limited governments, not having to have a license to "do things" (fishing, hunting, driving, etc.), getting out of all foreign occupations, and placing the currency on a gold/silver standard. If you want an idea of what's really going on, check out a new documentary called "Fall Of The Republic" on YouTube. (Thursday Nov 5 | post #490)
Light 'em Up, Fox News - by Ted Nugent
Ted is going to be a great spokesperson for the patriot movement, once he gets away from the left/right paradigm, finally realizing both parties got us into this mess. It's like picking a team to cheer on in the Super Bowl and neither team is your favorite team. (Monday Nov 2 | post #377)
Falls mayor wants to ax Moral Claims Commission
It seems moral and ethical issues are in complete opposition to what Robart understands. I think a ham sandwich would do a much better job than this incumbent, and I will be writing in "Ham Sandwich" as my choice for mayor this Tuesday. (Sunday Nov 1 | post #2)
Electric bill hikes shock Cuyahoga Falls customers
Face it. Robart and this city council don't care about any of you. Oops, we made over a year's worth of mistakes and we're passing that onto the citizens. Complete tyranny! (Sunday Nov 1 | post #4)
Cuyahoga Falls: Mistake causes electric bills to rise
Robart is just like Obama. Lies, deception, and higher taxes in the form of your utility bills. 4 more years of tyranny are coming. The only thing we can pray for impeaching him in the coming four years. (Sunday Nov 1 | post #3)
And, the old bat is running unopposed. Talk about tyranny! How ironic that Robart spoke at the Tea Party about responsible government and wouldn't know it if it bit him squarely in the nuts. Yes, you are going to get four more years of Mayor Photo-Op. Just think, higher utility rates, electronic carbon footprint monitors in everyone's home, and more abuses of eminent domain. Cuyahoga Falls: Mistake causes electric bills to rise
With the lack of comments about all of this, I believe Cuyahoga Falls residents have reached a dangerous point of apathy. Enjoy your tyranny. Taxes and fees are only going to be on the rise. (Oct 20, 2009 | post #2)
We should do the same to city hall and then erect a loony bin to house the city politicians properly. (Oct 17, 2009 | post #1)
Falls mayor wants to ax Moral Claims Commission
From the article posted: ''People have a right to be heard,'' he said. ''Sometimes the city may not be legally obligated to pay, but there may be a moral reason why they should.'' Here we go again. The mayor endorses (with our tax money) the spending of millions of dollars to digitally track our utility usage, telling us, "Tough, we're implementing it!" Now, he's trying to assure the average citizen doesn't have any kind of voice in his limited, un-tea party-esque, illogical mind. If the reasoning is moral or logical, it must go right out the window. Meanwhile, eminent domain is this guy's main priority. When are the citizens of this town going to wake up? As he's learned from the likes of Bush, Clinton, and Obama...ram it down the public's throats and don't allow them a voice. As goes the small town, so goes this republic once known as the United States. (Oct 17, 2009 | post #1)
Cuyahoga Falls: Mistake causes electric bills to rise
Imagine going to the store, purchasing something, bringing it home, using it, and then getting a bill from the store telling you they undercharged you for the item you bought. It wouldn't happen in real life, but it certainly can happen where an inept government it involved. Such is the case in Cuyahoga Falls and this spend happy, no accountability administration headed by Mayor Don Robart. The only thing we can guarantee from Robart is that we'll see his name plastered all over new projects and there's never been a photo op he didn't turn down. In a time of families tightening up on their budgets (something a government doesn't have the balls to do) to make ends meet with less money, here we go, paying for some incompetant agencies' mistake. And it didn't "just happen". An "oops" never just magically appears. In the real world, people would be held accountable and fired for this. Ms. Carr just has to say, "Oops" and thinks all is forgiven and forgotten. Clue bus to Ms. Carr: it's our money and family budgets that you're screwing with. This is proof that the mayor's appearance at the Tea Party Rally was nothing more than a photo op. Responsible government? Ha! Not with this old bastard and his cronies. Robart wouldn't know resposible government if it backhanded his upside the head. And, he's running uncontested. Welcome to tyranny, people. This guy is no better than Obama. Promise one thing and do completely the wrong thing. This starts from red light cameras to eminent domain issues with this Robart administration. As long as you keep giving these people your money, they will invent delightful ways to spend it. Sick! Now, here's the dirty little secret that city governments don't want citizens to know about. Every city has a annual financial comprehensive report. Within that report, 90% of the cities are swimming in cash. It's why money "magically appears" when some levies fail. The citizens of Cuyahoga Falls need to see that report. If there's extra money, it could be found there. But, it should not come out of our pockets due to the ineptness of this administration. That's a sin and just plain the wrong thing to do for the citizens who had nothing to do with this mistake. Mistake is too light a word. The citizens had nothing to do with this level of irresponsible government, brought to you by the same group, who's been in city government way too long! So, in short... Robart speaking at the tea party (regarding responsible government) was the equivalent to an athiest talking about Jesus. They both might know their subjects, but they don't believe a word of it. Meanwhile, I'm encouraging people to promote Robart's re-election by making posters with his name, but swap the "O" in Robart with the Obama O symbol. It's the true symbol of tyranny. (Oct 16, 2009 | post #1)
Electric bill hikes shock Cuyahoga Falls customers
This mayor is pro-business, or so he's told everyone that he is. But remember, this is the same mayor that's in love with eminent domain, so perhaps the idea is to get the businesses the inability to afford being open, so he can take their property too...with our tax dollars! This is what not having term limits is like. Tyranny can run at will and the hypocrites get rewarded, all on the backs of the citizens. Tyrant Robart and his cronies are only showing you that there's nothing you can do against their self made machine. Suffer peasant, suffer! (Oct 15, 2009 | post #3)
