Obama vows 30,000 troops for Afghan war

Corporations live on profit without it they go out of business. Unions thrive on money they can steal from their membership. You pay and you pay and you pay some more and for what? So some Union fat cat can sit on his or her ass all day and do NOTHING. Oh wait that's right They tell you when to go out on strike. If you do not like your wages then fine go out and finds a better paying job. Nobody is forcing you to work in a place where you feel like you are getting screwed every time you turn around. If you think the corporations are giving you the shaft whenever you buy any of their garbage then do like I do. Don't buy their garbage. That is why I do not buy a FORD or Chrysler product. I also don't buy anything made in China. They need me and my money to survive and when I do not support them with my money they suffer. I DO NOT buy gas either. I walk a lot. You buy gas you are supporting the Muslim Terrorists. You buy from Ford Chrysler or GMC and you are supporting the Unions. You buy from the Communist Chinese you are supporting the Muslim Terrorists also as well as child labor and human rights violations. There are very few thing we have a say in any more and our money is just about our only weapon left to us.  (7 min ago | post #94)

The World Uyghur Congress (WUC) (Uyghur: د&#1 735;ن ي&#1 575; ئ&#1 735;ي غ&#1 735;ر ق&#1 735;ر ۇ&#1 604;ت ى&#1 610;ى; ULY: Dunya Uyghur Qurultiyi; Chinese: 世&# 30028;维 吾&# 23572;代 表&# 22823;会 ) is an international organisation of exiled Uyghur groups said to "represent the collective interest of the Uyghur people"[1] both inside and outside of the Xinjiang Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China. The Congress was formed in mid-April 2004 at a meeting in Munich, Germany, as a collection of various exiled Uyghur groups including the Uyghur American Association (UAA) and East Turkestan National Congress (ETNC).[2] Rebiya Kadeer is the current president, elected in 2006. A prominent businesswoman and political activist, Kadeer has been in exile in the United States since 2005 after six years imprisonment in China for "leaking state secrets".[3] The Chinese government has designated the WUC and its affiliate groups as a terrorist organisation, who it says have attempted to form a legitimate cover for their "illegal motives" to separate China.[4] The WUC has accused former Chinese Communist Party leader Mao Zedong of colonising Xinjiang, reneging on a promise to allow self-determination for the region.[10] According to the WUC, its main aim is to "promote the right of the Uyghur people to use peaceful, nonviolent, and democratic means to determine the political future of East Turkestan." It has declared its intention to work with world governments and form a "peaceful opposition" to the policies of the Chinese government in Xinjiang,[2] whose treatment of Uyghurs, it alleges, risk turning the region into a "time bomb".[11][12 ] The first president, Erkin Alptekin, described the Han Chinese as "colonists who want to replace us with their own people and assimilate those of us who remain, wiping out our culture."[13] The Congress has also said China is exaggerating the threat from terrorists in order to justify repression in the region.[14] The Congress, like the Uyghur American Association based in Washington, D.C., use mass media and their own websites in an aim to inform the international community of alleged human rights abuses in the Xinjiang Autonomous Region. It has been described as "cyber-separa tism" which is supported in part by wealthy Uyghurs in the Middle East.[15] Some newspapers in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan reprint articles from the websites in Uyghur and Russian.[16] http://en.wikipedi a.org/wiki/World_U yghur_Congress So far all I have read is this is a nonviolent group who are seeking justice and freedom for their people. So what is wrong with that? Oh yea they want the same thing the Buddhists want FREEDOM from Communist control. I hear the Communist Chinese want the Dali Lama for crime he did not commit also. You are crying over a bunch of exiles for wanting their FREEDOM. Give us a break will ya.  (Monday Dec 14 | post #181)

How Obama Came to Plan for 'Surge' in Afghanistan

No he is not. Because of his dual citizenship he is not qualified because he IS NOT a natural born citizen just like John McCain. A "Natural born citizen" is a person born in this country in one of the 50 states. Barry was born in Kenya and adopted in Indonesia by an Indonesian couple making him a citizen of Indonesia and not a Natural born citizen of the United States. 4,440,000 American lives lost fighting to gain FREEDOM of the Chinese people from Japanese occupation, torture and inhumane human experiments. 4,440,000 American lives is what it cost for your freedom. 4,440,000 American lives and all we are asking of the Chinese people is to STOP supporting the Muslim campaign of destruction and death against the American People. Is that really too much to ask? From Okinawa to Midway to Guadalcanal to the Canary Islands Americans fought and defeated the Japanese which is something the Chinese were unable to do in what was it? 20 years of fighting the Japanese. And it only took us 4 years. That still leave the question, "When are the Chinese people going to start repaying the American People the Debt of Honor they owe the American people?  (Monday Dec 14 | post #173)

Now that is rich. From everything I have been reading over the past week the Chinese were far to busy fighting each other which the Japanese capitalized upon and kept the Chinese people hostage. You are still evading the fact that you owe the American people a great Debt of Honor. Over 4 million Americans lost their lived fighting the Japanese. Over 4 million Americans sacrificed their lives so China could be FREE. From Okinawa to Midway to Guadalcanal American Forced fought the Japanese. I love how you disrespect brave men like Pappy Boington and the Flying Tigers who fought in China without the help of the Chinese people and for what? If their plans were shot down by the Japanese the Chinese people would turn them over to the Japanese. At least the French in German occupied France hid our pilots and helped them return to England after being shot down. If it hadn't been for the American people the Chinese people would still be under Japanese control and still fighting among themselves. How to tie up 500,000 Chinese Communist troops and keep them from fighting the Japanese. Have the Chinese Nationalist Party ask Mao for control over them. Over 4 million Americans sacrificed their lives to free China and how does the Chinese People repay their Debt of Honor to the American People? With more blood shed as the Chinese people continue to support the Muslim's campaign or death and destruction against innocent unarmed American citizens. We captured them. We have been holding them and they have not been able to attack any more of the Chinese people now have they? If China wants them just ask Barry for them and he'll be more than happy to give them to ya. Once again this has absolutely nothing to do with the Chinese People's Debt of Honor to the American people.  (Monday Dec 14 | post #171)

We don't we captured them in Afghanistan and are holding them in Getmo. Talk to Barry Soetoro if you really want them back. He is looking for other countries to take our POWS off of our hands for us. U.S. holding 300 Chinese in Afghanistan, Beijing says. URUMQI, China _ A Chinese official complained Monday that the United States is holding 300 captured Chinese Muslim extremists in Afghanistan, whom China wants returned to face charges of mounting a terrorist insurrection in its far-west region. The United States and China are in discussion about how to handle the cases of the 300 ethnic Uighur fighters from China's Xinjiang region, but a top government official in Urumqi, Xinjiang's provincial capital, expressed frustration that no extradition agreement has been made. http://www.encyclo pedia.com/doc/1G1- 120406391.html Ok so how is that giving aid to the Muslims who have killed Chinese people?  (Monday Dec 14 | post #170)

How Obama Came to Plan for 'Surge' in Afghanistan

No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States." Article 2 Section 1 of the United States Constitution. This section of the United States Constitution does not allow for a naturalized citizen or a citizen with a dual citizenship to serve as our President. "No person except a natural born citizen" that eliminates Barry Soetoro completely since he IS NOT even an American citizen. Hey that also includes John McCain and prevents him from running for the Presidency. Under the Constitution the only person eligible to run in this past election was Sarah Palan. None of the others qualified. If more people would just read the Constitution in its entirety we would have a lot fewer problems with our government. The Constitution is our guide as to whom we should and should NOT vote for. The Constitution says that no person can hold 2 government offices at the same time and yet we have a bunch of lawyers occupying our Congressional seats. Why because people have not read our Constitution. The Constitution also states that a person MUST BE an inhabitant of the state from which they are elected and yet we have a bunch of the members of the Congress who are residents but NOT inhabitants of the states from which they have been elected and yes there is a difference.  (Monday Dec 14 | post #47)

Tougher TN smoking ban may be on the way

Road rage was an occurrence when one person sought to control the actions of another. It was all about control and nothing more. A person precised someone else cut them off in traffic and they go ballistic. When it is extremely hot there is always an increase in crime does that mean we have to pass a bunch of stupid laws prohibiting people from getting over heated? This is my personal take on the situation. We DO NOT need any more unenforceable laws. What we do need is for the church to do a better job. One of the fundamental teachings of the Lord was forgiveness. Freely you have been forgiven freely forgive. As you forgive others their transgressions against you so too will you be forgiven. When the majority of people learn the art of forgiveness we will see the crime rate diminish. It is not about control but being the best servants we can. A servant does not seek revenge or justice when wronged. A servant seek forgiveness for the transgressor and in doing so finds inner peace. We do not need additional laws designed to control people's actions what we need are more people to learn how to forgive. The science that said smoking caused cancer was found to be wrong yet people still insist upon hurting people who have never done them any harm. Where is the forgiveness? Where is the love for your neighbor. Remember the Lord said that whatever we do to someone else we are doing it to him directly. You say we do not have the Freedom of Choice and yet the United States Supreme Court lists it as one of the fundamental RIGHTS we have. "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed." 2nd Amendment The word "infringed " denoted that it CANNOT be regulated nor legislated. The reason for this is because the 2nd Amendment is our protection against the violent act of aggression against us committed by our own government. Whenever any government employee or agent over steps their Constitutional authority and uses violent means against any citizen. That citizen has the right to fight back with whatever means they deem necessary to protect themselves, their property and their family. If it ends up in a court of law it is not up to the citizen to defend him or herself it is up to the government to defend its acts of aggression against that citizen. If a cop pulls a citizen over for say speeding without the benefit of a proper warrant. That cop is in violation of the 4th Amendment. Before any citizen can be stopped , questioned, detained or arrested for any reason the cop MUST first obtain a proper warrant. Without it the citizen cannot even be stopped or detained until a warrant can be obtained. A person goes into a Welfare office seeking assistance. The Welfare worker (because he or she is a government employee) is denied the authority under the 4th Amendment to ask that citizen for any form of identification or proof of income, residence, number of people living with them or their debts without a proper warrant. That is what makes Welfare unconstitutional. Our Constitution tells the government what it can and cannot do. It does NOT tell the American people what they can or cannot do.  (Monday Dec 14 | post #130)

The only problem with what you are saying is the fact that for over 200 years people have smoked in public and no one has ever resorted to violence because of it. We have our RIGHTS which CANNOT be legislated or controlled by any government (local, state of federal). WE have the right of free choice which if you don't like it well that is just too darn bad. We also have the right to own and carry a weapon which also CANNOT be regulated according to the 2nd Amendment. The only way these unconstitutional laws are upheld is when We the People allow them to be enforced. Take for example the 55 mile an hour speed limit and what happened to it. Once people realized that no matter what gas prices are going to continue to climb and the vast majority of citizens ignored the 55 speed limit did the Congress abolish it. So far no one has killed someone else for doing the speed limit. Or exceeding it. Not even the cops go around killing people for excessive speed. We have our RIGHTS for a very good reason and we all must stand up in support of every last one of them. Because if we do not then those rights we still have left like freedom of speech will also be taken away.  (Monday Dec 14 | post #125)

G.M. Is Said to Agree to Sell Stakes to China Partner

See what Have I been saying. The Chinese people have no honor. They repay their Debt of Honor to the American people with bloodshed and hate. It started when the Communists took control of China and it continued into Korea and Vietnam. Now it is in support of every terrorist group that proclaims Death to Americans. 4,440,000 American live is the price paid for the Chinese people's Freedom. 4,440,000 American lives and it is too much for us to ask the Chinese people to stop supporting the Muslim's campaign of death and destruction against innocent unarmed American citizens. The Chinese People are a people of dishonor and must not be supported by our money. I no longer purchase anything made in China for this very reason and I strongly encourage every other American to do the same.  (Monday Dec 14 | post #155)

Seat belts are for fools who like having a false sense of security. Seat belts kill a lot of people every year. People are decapitated by their seatbelts when the driver hits the breaks in order to avoid an accident. Their body weight drags them down under the seatbelt as the belt catches under their chin snapping their head off. Seatbelts can also cause internal injury even when worn properly. And you do not want to get me started on child safety seats and how dangerous they are to children. I know several individuals who refuse to wear their seatbelts. The are quick to point out that their God is more than able to protect them and keep them safe therefore they fail to see a need for seatbelts. Many of them are waiting to be given a ticket so they can challenge the mandatory seatbelt laws in a court of law and have them declared unconstitutional. They violate their freedom of religion or so they claim. These laws are in my personal opinion extremely dangerous. I mean if a cop is unable to see whether a person is buckled up at night then what is the sense in the law? Are these laws in place to protect human lives or is there something else behind them? Yesterday it was seatbelts to day it is smokers what will it be tomorrow and the day after that and the day after that. When will it all stop?  (Monday Dec 14 | post #122)
