I also hate them so much that I have to change the channel the second I see them. They can't even say Toyota correctly...it's more like Tayota. My husband says that they remind him of the girls from The Shining. A guy I work with told me that his daughter met them one time and they were really stuck up. I guess all of their "fame" has went to their heads! p.s. blahblah, I HATE Rachel Ray as well!! It's pretty sad that Mr. Moser would come on here and use this story for his own personal gain. That is disgusting. From reading all of the posts, it looks like this teacher is a wonderful teacher and has helped the choir program greatly. Also, (from the comments) he was not even around the children while drinking his ONE beer. It was just a chance encounter that this prude mother is using to get her 15 minutes. I agree that he may not have used the best judgement due to the fact that he was chaperoning these kids, but I also don't think it was THAT horrible to have one beer. I will never understand this. How are elementary school kids capable of these things? (if that is the case here, we don't have all of the details yet.) I agree with jaxlax about the parenting comment. My dad has had a gun in the house when I was growing up for as long as I can remember. My parents always taught me to never touch it and what would happen if I did. Also, he had a lock on it to make extra sure I was safe.
