The level of heartless and ignorant comments made on this forum never ceases to amaze me. *shaking head* My condolences go out to the family. This is a horrible loss. This could have been a relative or perhaps someone she met online who became a problem and perhaps stalked her. It's a crazy world we live in. Hey Ms. Nikki :) Actually I'm quite sure the Attorney representing the family suggested such a high number. This is merely because by the time this suit is all finished that number will have decreased and perhaps dramatically. If they started low, they'd have to settle for an even lower number. Unfortunately this is now out of Judge Kerns hands as it will now be up to a circuit court judge to try. I believe he would have thrown the book at this man if it were up to him. If this case were to be heard in front of Fisher he would probably do the right thing because this man isn't a police officer. *rolling eyes* He would also need to make an example out of this guy since he screwed up so royally with the ex-cop.
