What happened with Patrick Evans

Patrick was wrong but again where was Mama? You gotta keep close tabs on them especially these days. I had a fantastic child who never gave me a moments worry, but as good as she was I didn't give her tons of rope. She was a teenager and as a parent you have to stay vigilant at all times...I checked up on her when she was spending the night elsewhere..I knew the kind of friends she was hanging with and their families as well...the advantage of raising a child in a small town. I could've let her stay with whomever whenever but it was my job as her parent to make it my business. I could've been out doing my own thing but I had a child that came first.  (Nov 5, 2009 | post #33)

BTW- Patrick was wrong but I ask where were the parents of this 14 year old when she was out running wild? I do not know the parents but with her now knocked up by some other fool it appears there was a lack of parenting. I pretty much always knew where my 14 year old girl was and who she was with. A child needs to be supervised but I see 14 year old girls at the Malls with short shorts and a camel toe as big as Georgia, make up piled on and low cut tops showing all and I always find myself wondering where's Mom and Dad? They show up screaming though when baby girl shows up pregnant. Then they want to blame somebody. Values and principles start AT HOME.  (Nov 5, 2009 | post #29)

C-K is your typical small town with gossip mongers and some of the biggest "sinners " of all sitting back judging. Born and raised in CK until I got married, wised up and moved to Ashland, I know the town well. They've never understood that people who live in glass houses should not be throwing stones or the saying " clean out your own closets" The mentality just isn't there.
