McCain mortgage plan shifts costs to taxpayers

Great! So they bail out the Wall St. executives with 5 houses, and the rest of us have to bail ourselves out with our own money, providing we are able to have work. Nice.  (Yesterday | post #37)

'Who is the real Sen. Obama?'

I would buy the argument that we don't know him accept I had not heard of any presidential candidate before they ran for the office of president. I had not heard of Bush, the Clintons, or Al Gore beforehand. People don't know Obama, well Illinois does. Its mainstream Americans that don't know him. But I voted for Bush and I had never heard of him before. So I can't buy that argument. I cringe everytime I hear that because I think its a fear tactic  (Yesterday | post #78)

States' purges of voter rolls appear illegal

Google "lose your home, lose your vote" and you'll see that the GOP is behind not allowing people to vote if they have a foreclosed home too. There's also a website called no voter left behind that's countering this. Its illegal to stop people from voting, but you are right, the GOP is out with their tactics in full force  (Yesterday | post #5)

McCain-Palin supporters threaten to kill Obama

Are we talking about the Wicked Witch of Wassila? There were no signs of all this racial tension and racial remarks until Palin came on board. You don't hear racial remarks about McCain coming from Blacks. Palin will run United States the same way she runs Alaska, no minorities, no diversity, just plain ole "hockey moms" and Joe Six packs in the all-white house. She is polarizing people by racial lines and inciting fears that are unproven. If this is the conservative strategy, I'm glad to turn my back on the RNC and vote democrat this year. She's not a uniter.  (Wednesday | post #10)

Palin calls Afghanistan "our neighboring country"

Thanks for breaking that down. Palin should try reaching out more with her brain, and not her mouth. But golly gee, she's got that neighborly thing down pat  (Wednesday | post #96)

Hagel Questions Palin's Qualifications

I can see Evansville from my computer, and I can google Russia. So now I have as much foreign policy as Palin. Oh, and Obama went to Europe and did okay, but that doesn't count. Where has Palin been  (Tuesday Oct 7 | post #573)

Palin calls Afghanistan "our neighboring country"

Wow! This is real news. I wonder if Obama knows this. Quick, call his campaign. He's been wasting a lot of time and money and he's not eligible? Oh my, he sounds like George W. Bush. He's been wasting a lot of time and money too, only to find out he wasn't eligible either  (Tuesday Oct 7 | post #79)

2008 Presidential Election

Palin calls Afghanistan "our neighboring country"

People want to know why some fear Palin? Its because she's a heartbeat away from being the president, and she doesn't even know what's going on. She could be Commander and Chief one day, and we could be depending on her to lead us and by golly she's just gonna 'wing it' and try get by. Well I already had 8 years of someone wingin it.  (Tuesday Oct 7 | post #67)

What I finally came to see also. Too bad so many angry voices try and drown this out. This country has been divided long enough, and what we fail to see is we are all in this struggle together. So many families are hurting together, and instead of being party oriented, vote change for once. This former republican voter is voting democrat for change.  (Tuesday Oct 7 | post #23)

Palin gets chance to overcome doubts in VP debate

Funny how someone on the other side of the world can see that Palin is a Democrat implant, sent to help Obama. We have people right here who can't see it. Every time she opens her mouth, Obama soars in the polls  (Monday Oct 6 | post #3053)
