Glen Rock man pleads guilty to federal drug charges
If you want to eliminate the trip to the Left Coast, support Pennsylvania House Bill 1393, the Compassionate Use Act, at a hearing before the Health and Human Services Committee in the Main Majority Caucus Room 140 of the Capitol in Harrisburg on Wednesday, December 2 at 11 AM EST. See www.MedicalMovemen t.com and www.PA4MMJ.org. The conventional wisdom among enterprising Cannabis fans is that you can't ship anything through LAX (Los Angeles airport) where it is closely monitored but there are other ways. Why not do it legally? (Nov 14, 2009 | post #1)

Middle class is sick and tired
Ditto, Dude. But if you don't play the game, you don't get heard. That's why I vote in all elections, communicate with my government officials, and support people and issues in which I believe. (Nov 12, 2009 | post #2)
Cumulative oldness trumps clicks
Check out www.alumniclass.co m/southwesternseni orhs/. We at the Hanover High School Class of 1969 just had our 40th Reunion and it was great to reconnect with classmates. (Nov 11, 2009 | post #1)
ADA subject of Gettysburg meeting
The time for discussion has long since passed. It's time for businesses and governments to start working on a plan for compliance. Historic Philadelphia wasted many years and dollars trying to avoid the inevitable. You must obey the law. Your history is no excuse for further delay. How would you feel if you couldn't walk? FTC: We didn't stop chip acquisition
Utz's antitrust counsel may have advised that a "second request" review by the FTC would produce hard numbers on the anticompetitive effect of the merger which would make approval difficult. The legal costs of engaging in further review can be substantial, and if the odds are against approval, it's prudent to kill the deal. Nothing personal, nothing to do with chips or jobs-- just numbers. (Nov 8, 2009 | post #6)
_Never_ consent to perform so-called "field sobriety" tests, which no one _ever_ passes. Best to simply hand over your cards and say nothing, because no one _ever_ talks their way out of a DUI, especially when they're DUI. (Nov 6, 2009 | post #3)
KY: leans to Right-to-Work if not enacted; PA: Industrial Revolution labor union dinosaur mentality. A clear choice for rational managers and directors on behalf of shareholder-owners. (Nov 6, 2009 | post #1)
Philadelphia ban on motorists' cell phones begins
This will work as well as it does in DC, where it isn't enforced at all. All it will do is give phony accident plaintiffs one more basis for their bogus claims. Forget the warnings and launch with zero tolerance. (Nov 2, 2009 | post #1)
Judge: Woman's animals must go
I'm a tad biased in favor of my friends, but my Halloween Parade favorites were Stevi and Braedon Ennis and friends with their goat, duck and chicken from Heavenly Pastures in Hanover's Halloween Parade. If you liked them and support their loving pets, but didn't get a Petition to sign, visit HeavenlyPastures.com or my site JeffreySpangler.com to download, sign and return. Spread the viral word. And thanks for all you do! (Oct 31, 2009 | post #125)

Watch for the Heavenly Pastures folks who will be marching and collecting signatures on petitions in support of their mission: (1) sharing God's unconditional love with the assistance of animals; (2) providing animal babies for nurturing the environment and fostering therapeutic experiences; and (3) providing little critters to promote positive self-worth and unconditional love. Thanks for all you do. See www.HeavenlyPastur es.com. (Oct 28, 2009 | post #1)
Better to keep operating these plants where they are rather than build new ones elsewhere. Spent fuel rods are a horse that is already out of the barn-- a few more onsite won't be significantly more dangerous than the existing ones which will remain deadly for 250,000 years.
