Hammer, I hope Obama becomes president so I can quit my job, get on welfare grow marijuana and sale it for medicinal use, sit around the house all day and eat the food I get from one of the government agencies sponsored by bigger government while talking to a free social worker about how I cant pay my utilities could they refer me to another program that could bay the bill for the lights and computer so I could stay awake all night and blog to other liberals. No more working, no more being responsible wow no wonder you all want Obama in office… by the way don’t forget I would need some gas vultures seeing how welfare will not pay enough for me to be able to pay $10.00 a gallon for gas under the liberal rule. Now all I have to do is figure out how I am going to pay for the new carbon taxes liberals want us to all pay. But hell I will have noting better to do all day long, and if I get to sick I will just go down to the hospital and get some pain pills with my free health care, I imagine I will have to wait in line a little while with all the other junkies seeing how it is free and all, pluse I am sure their will only be like one doctor working seeing how most of us will just give up our responsibility so we can live of the government…. Propaganda does take information and repeat it until it becomes truth, I too agree with you again. My points are not GOP talking points they are the points of a small town man who wishes not to see his children’s future wasted by liberal mockery. I understand that America has national interests that have to be protected to provide the safety and security of our infrastructure. The fear you speak of is not a fear this country asked for but it is a reality that we must live with. This country needs a Leader that is focused and can reach across party lines, that person has not been George Bush, nor would it be Obama. McCain and Palin both have children that serve in the military, they as parents understand the sacrifice many parents are making. I expect as leaders they will be very rational in their decisions they make regarding forin policy. Obama is not ready in all fairness to lead and be commander in chief at this time in history. This again is just the view of a small town man. Now GOP points: Obama nor the government deserve any more of my tax dollars to expand government based programs. Obama wants and has said he wants a death tax. Why should I have to pay a tax when I die? Obama would increase the capital gain tax from 15% to 28% why should I have to pay more taxes for programs I don’t want or use? Obama wants to raise tax 7% on families making over $100,000 dollars a year, the man and woman making over a $100,000 dollars a year done not deserve to be taxed more do they? Obama wants to go back to take from the rich and give to the poor. I am a conservative and I do not believe it is fair for me to have to pay more. (Sep 10, 2008 | post #958)

The difference between Jesus and Obama would be Jesus would not take ear marked money from real state developers while his people suffered in the projects of Chicago with no heat, poor living conditions. Jesus would not except millions of dollars and let his ½ brother live on a dollar a day. Jesus would not go out and falsely accuse others or attack woman. Now as far as my patriotism. I have served my county and gladly stand and salute the flag no matter how I feel about an issue. I support our soldiers fighting and pay them the highest respect not dishonor them. So if loving my country and standing by the men and woman who fight the war makes me a moron and pawn that is a title I kindly accept. I remember this deal that happen on Sept 11th, when invaders attacked us from above killing men woman and children, for me I will never forget and I will never compromise or vote for a man (Obama) that would compromise the security of this country. If feel like you don’t have as many freedoms as you once did because the government listens to your phone calls, I am sorry but for me I would gladly lose some of my personal freedoms so others can be kept safe. McCain has many accomplishments and a lot of what he has done has gone against the conservative nom. McCain has opposed Bush tax cuts because he felt that only the wealthiest Americans would benefit from them. When McCain pushed for a tax height it was against tobacco companies. McCain has not always stayed in line with us Conservatives; he has upset our party more than once for leaning towards conservative views hence the reason he has his maverick status. McCain could be the one that reaches across party lines and work with both sides, I personally consider him more of an Independent than Conservative. (Sep 10, 2008 | post #943)

Michelle, You use the words like greedy, callous idiot. You accuse Sara Palin of not caring for the environment or wildlife. Well-let look at the facts for a moment, Obama the great community organizer allowed low income African Americans in his district to be swindled and token advantage of by Tony Rezko. Him and his law firm represented Rezko while many of the citizens living in worn down apartments froze from not having heat. Obama turned and looked the other way due to receiving over $200,000 dollars from Rezko. So the question is who is the greedy callous idiot? Second as Governor it is Miss Palin responsibility to manage the affairs of the state, this includes wildlife management, Palin has something like an 80% approval rating as governor. I am sure this argument is the same old go and hug a tree debate, read up on wild life management then come back and see if you want to debate this argument. (Sep 9, 2008 | post #771)

Have fun in Canada “United we stand”. I believe in the United States! I believe in a president that wants to protect out countries flag, not throw it away afterwards (like Obama campaign after the DNC). I want a President that has always been committed to protecting this country and its allies, not a flip flopping community organizer want to be who cant make up his mind what to do. By the way “United we stand” other beliefs want to kill you and me, so I am again glad to have a reprehensive that will protect me and my family from radical beliefs.
