I will be laughing for a week reading all the comments on this thread. (Thursday | post #102)
Senate says no to California clean-car emission rules
Finally some sense has returned. I would raise their grade for this session from a straight F to a minus D. (Thursday | post #12)

Just like the housing market, people extended themselves way beyond their means, and now the chickens are coming home to roost. (Tuesday May 13 | post #3)
Central Corridor Hardening the bargain
I understand why you are a former republican, you have no sense of reality. Crude prices are controlled by the speculators on the market, no link to Iraq or its funding. The crumble happened because someone designed it wrong. Way before Pawlenty took office. Wake up and smell reality. Dump the new LRT, all it will do is cause more congestion, and raise taxes for the people who live in the metro area, 90 percent of who will probably never step foot on it (Monday May 12 | post #18)
Denied GOP nod, Olson might run as independent
He should find a new vocation. (Sunday May 11 | post #3)

If they want it, make them pay for it, not the entire state of MN. Everyone like using other peoples money. I bet if you ask whether or not they would pay for it exclusively, the answer would change dramatically. (Saturday May 10 | post #17)

Metro-area home market shows a window of hope
What did they do change the headline and start a new thread? Did a real estate broker write this. The housing plunge is continuing until the prices get in tune with the median income. Its called a market adjustment. (Friday May 9 | post #2)
House approves stem cell measure
Totally amazing how many people here can't see the forest because of all of those dang tree's in the way. 1. Why is the house even wasting time on a bill that is going to get vetoed? Don't we a budget deficit to worry about? The legislature has too much time on its hands, since it can't seem to get down to the real business of the state. 2. Just because its good for the state of CA, doesn't mean is good for us. Last time I checked, the state of CA is bordering on, if not in a state of bankruptcy. 3. Put your money in the promising research, and after all the private money spent on embryonic stems cells has brought no breakthroughs whereas adult cell research is outracing it, its a bad bet. Budget talks said to be going well, but ...
Just cut spending, is that so hard? This state is overtaxed because we haven't learned how to say NO!! Less than half the people in this state pay the majority of the taxes, let put the rest on the spot and make them pay also. (Friday May 9 | post #9)
