Conservatives roar; GOP trembles

The truth hurts eh, djigoo? Independent voters who got sucked in by the campaign promises and who were sick of GWB and his spend like a Dem policies are waking up by the millions. Conservatives who stayed away from the voting booths because of GWB and couldn't bring themselves to vote for Demo-Lite McCain are being re-energized and will be electing real Conservatives in 2010 and 2012. The Dems visit to the White House will be a one term one and the control of the congress won't last much longer. The 1.4 trillion dollar national debt along with a federal defecit in excess of 175 billion dollars is certainly a wake up call to anyone who has faith in the future of this country. Conservatives will take back the country and all you your comrades will be able to do is attempt to use smear tatics and name calling in a futile attempt to stop us. Enjoy your current position cause it's gonna end real soon.  (3 hrs ago | post #164)

Look at them now: St. Paul high school students overcome obstac...

And I say; if these young people, with their problematic backgrounds and difficult lives, can succeed in the school system we have, why can't kids without these disadvantages do it. You and your constant use of the word Republi-thugs need to quit drinking the kool-ade supplied by the NEA and look at the facts. Young people who want to succeed will find a way to do it. Throwing more money at the system is not the answer. Demanding student and parent responsibility and insisting that teachers are also held responsibile for their results is the way to make the system better.  (8 hrs ago | post #18)

Big Minn. union backs Kelliher for governor

If the State of Minnesota is so great, what are you doing in the state of Colorado? I hear that Colorado is quickly becoming a state that supports the Independents more than the Democrats. Maybe you should think about emigrating to the Red Star State and becoming just another pawn in the great chess game of Minnesota politics.  (8 hrs ago | post #7)

Big Minn. union backs Kelliher for governor

Omigod, you mean to tell us that there are labor unons supporting Democrats for public office. I am flabbergasted and totally disappointed that the unions are abandoning their support of the Republican party.  (9 hrs ago | post #5)

You and your hero worshipping flunkie [djigoo] should be the last ones who attempt to lay claim to being anything but what you are. Elitist, snobbish, self-centered know-it-alls who will support any Democrat who runs for office because only THEY know what is good for the masses. Hang around until November of 2010 and see what happens to your majority party at that time. Take a good hard look at the current polls and watch Obamas slide in popularity bring the Democrats down with him.  (10 hrs ago | post #161)

Ft. Hood suspect reportedly shouted 'Allahu Akbar'

Millions of "racist white guys". Do you have a list of these guys names? Can you point to one factual example to support this contention? Define victimizing. You certainly don't sound like a "Proud American". You sound more like a troll.  (Yesterday | post #407)

Obama pressed into role as healer, inevitably

Although I tend to agree that he doesn't relate to the military very well at all, I question what you believe what policies he could have implemented that would have prevented this maniac from killing his fellow servicemen. If there is any blame to place for this tragic situation I would believe that it lies with the military hierarchy who were told about his anti-American stances and did nothing about it. President Obama, although not a very good President, doesn't have responsibilty for maintaining the every day activities of every one in the military.  (Tuesday Nov 10 | post #11)

Report: Twin Cities have safest streets for pedestrians

You just got off a carcinogen producing bus you dipstick. Don't act like because you were walking from the bus stop to your abode that you're better than anyone else. All of you libs who complain about the internal combustion engine should take a good hard look at how your food gets to the local grocery store, how your clothing gets to the department store and how your sorry butt gets to work [that is assuming that you do work] on a daily basis. And by the way, the next time you or any other pedestrian crosses the street in the middle of the block or against a light I believe it will be perfectly okay for me to run their butt over.. afterall you intend to shoot a driver. Turn about is fair play...right.  (Monday Nov 9 | post #5)

And where is it, pray tell, that you get your information? Allow me to take a guess. MSNBC, NPR, Huffington Post. I don't need Hannity or Limbaugh or any one else to tell me what I believe or don't believe. I read points of view from a myriad of sources and decide what, if anything, I believe to be factual. My political views lean towards the right but there are positions that have been taken by some on the other side of the aisle that are totally acceptable to me.  (Monday Nov 9 | post #133)

Alleged shooter tied to mosque of 9/11 hijackers

I believe that the military has been told by the White House what they can and can not say. Our current Commander In Chief is a coward and an appeaser. His policies toward terrorists is reminiscent of what Chamberlain did when Hitler started gearing Germany towards war. The United States can not afford to believe that it is possible to negotiate with an enemy whose primary goal on earth is to eradicate the unbelievers and infidels. Christianity and Judaism have evolved over the centuries whereas Islam has not. The full military might of our country should brought to bear on any country that harbors terrorists and their supporters. The immediate reaction to the murders at Fort Hood should include the deportation of all non-citizen Muslims in this country and an in depth investigation into how the "alleged " killer was able to remain an Army officer while espousing his anti-American views. Muslims who are citizens should be aware that they will be subject to additional scrutiny whether it is deserved or not. The reason for this is that the vast majority of terrorist acts committed worldwide are perpetrated by individuals who call themselves Islamic Jihadists [no matter what group they are associated with]. Our federal government should cease debating the health care issue and spend more time developing a plan to assure the national security of our country. Our President should quit debating whether or not to send more troops to Afghanistan, instead he should allow the military to either do what they do best [blow up things and kill the enemy] or pull every member of the United States armed forces back to this country and tell Europe and Japan and South Kores and all the third world countries that they are responsible for their own countries and we are done supporting them. End of my rant.  (Monday Nov 9 | post #3)

Only one gunman, no clear motive

This should be a very good time to approach your elected officials and demand that the very real truth be exposed about this individual. What was he doing before he became an Army officer? How long did the military establishment know of his extremist views about the ongoing battle with Islamist terrorists? What propmpted the military establishment to promote hom to Major and put him in the position to do what he did?  (Sunday Nov 8 | post #10)

Tis will be the last time I bother with you. In my opinion the only reason you don't see Democrats arguing with other Democrats over issues is that Democrats have no desire to lose power, no matter if it means losing their principles and their values. A Democrat is a Democrat is a Democrat, no matter if they are criminals, sociopaths or anti-American progandists or just too naive or plain ignorantto know any better.  (Sunday Nov 8 | post #129)
