Sad. Surprised it didn't happen in Pomona. Pomona deaths due to drunk and unlicensed drivers will be on the rise. Check back in a year and let me know how many innocent people died due to drunk drivers in Pomona. City leaders are very scared to allow the cops to enforce laws with zero tolerance. Where was I backing him? I said he has a right to bring anyone he wants in to talk about his character. Most are obviously going to be retired cops and family and friends. Reality. He robbed banks and will get his punishment. What he gets is up to the system, not us. Sad situation, nothing you or I can do about it. You were mad that people talked on his behalf. That's part of the system also. Nothing you or I can do about it. Reality. You were mad people supported him. If you kill someone tomorrow, people are going to support you as well. It's reality. Deal with it. He is allowed to have people write and talk on his behalf, just like any other criminal. It's in the judges hands, he pled out. Will he get a little less than Joe Blow with priors? Of course. Will he get about the same as someone for a first offense? Probably. Stop your whining.
