Pagan pride: Diverse beliefs highlighted at annual festival

ok, I'm probably going to regret this but I feel like throwing my 2 cents in just becuase I've been reading it... I (that is me, myslef not the dictionay) see an addiction as when a person becomes so dependant upon a substance or habbit that it lowers the quailty of thier life and or that of the people around them. If someone can use (anything) and remain a functioning adult then power to them but those who can't need to get help and maybe that help (for witches) can come in the form of a coven. I see a coven like a family and a high priest and preistest (no I can't spell) should be willing to help thier members through difficulties in thier lives as should the rest of the coven. Thats what familes do. That said, it can be very difficult to practice with someone who refuses to accept help(I know this from personal experince). However, I do think that joining a coven would be a good first step in trying to improve a hard situation and too that effect, coven leaders should be willing to help those with honnorable desires, with the understanding that they are going to make an effort to return to being a functioning perosn which they will need assitance in doing. So, there it is. I'm really not even sure if this is whats being argued about but I doubt anyone is even reading this so thats ok. I'm not trying to piss ANYONE off with this so please don't flame me. Goddess Bless )O(  (Thursday Nov 26 | post #247)

Pagan pride: Diverse beliefs highlighted at annual festival

Our pride day went great, we had a circle and cakes and ale and there were so many vendors with coolest crafts and books for sale. The Dragons (security) kept the naysayers at an acceptable distance so we didn't really have much of a problem. There was a dude in our quad yelling about it a few days later, one of the fire and brimstone types but he finds something to damn everyone for so I don't take it personaly.  (Monday Nov 23 | post #222)

Do pagans say it's OK to be gay?

I'm a lesbian and a witch. I think i've taken equal amounts of greif for both but its rare that I admit both at the same time. I fear one day the Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ) kids will find out and camp outside my door.  (Oct 16, 2009 | post #20)

Viking Religious Group Causes Stir At Park

as much as i might dislike it, i think they should have just as much right to practice as thier religous beliefs as i do. becuase if you start to take away thier rights then you start to loose you own with them. let them do as they please and pay them liitle mind.  (Aug 25, 2009 | post #10)
