Far left." AHHH-hahahaha! Because far-left groups are well-known to say that Democrats are wrong and Republicans are correct, right? Oh, and the Annenberg Foundation? Created by a Republican. Try again. And Bernanke didn't say the economy is about to go over the cliff. He said the economy will be headed for the cliff IF Congress does certain things. Hell, did you even bother reading the very article you linked to? Just look at the title: "US Recovery Could Go Off 'Massive Fiscal Cliff'" COULD go. Not WILL go. (Mar 5, 2012 | post #67)
You're ignoring the fact that gas prices have fluctuated a lot in the past decade, indeed, long before Obama even announced that he'd be running for President. You're also ignoring, or are unaware of, the fact that presidential policies account for only a tiny percentage of such change. http://www.factche ck.org/2011/03/is- obama-to-blame-for -4-gasoline/ (Feb 29, 2012 | post #61)
Since when do Republicans support Obama? (Feb 27, 2012 | post #59)
Greece is not the US. Gas prices are twice as high as under Bush? First of all, how is $4.50 that I'm seeing now twice as much as the $5.50 I was seeing during the Bush administration? Secondly, neither president had any control over gas prices. The Muslim Brotherhood has been suffering for over a decade due to anti-Muslim sentiment caused by 9/11. The increase of people on unemployment and welfare/food stamps started before Obama even took office. The situation on illegal immigrants simply has not changed at all. (Feb 27, 2012 | post #58)
Yeah, whatever. No one is impressed by your condescending attitude. Keep trying, I'm sure it makes you feel oh so nifty to do so. By the way, do you have anything relevant to say? (Feb 25, 2012 | post #59)
Is that agreement, or disagreement? (Feb 25, 2012 | post #216)
Why don't you try getting down off your high horse and considering the possibility that you might be wrong? Of course, I don't expect you to... but what's the harm in trying? (Feb 25, 2012 | post #56)
Considering that the comment that you took exception to was the one about another faith being "irrelevant and false," which also was not the one you just quoted, and it's obviou that the only one "rationalizin g" anything is you. Keep trying. (Feb 25, 2012 | post #55)
And for the record, THAT was condescension. Though I'm sure you two will start a fight with me about that as well... (Feb 25, 2012 | post #51)
Oh, this is cute. I'm the one who's condescending, but apparently terms like "christard " are not. I have a mirror for sale if you'd care to use itYou think pagans going to pagan boards is oddObviously not. Just like a Catholic condemning a Protestand, you're fighting with another pagan for having different views. Get over yourselfHow adorable; you think that someone you suggests changing a single Bible passage to include multiple dieties is a Christian. Or were you just following in line with Pagan and ProudYou first. But wait, I suppose fair play is bad now. (Feb 25, 2012 | post #50)
You bring up commonality, but suddenly it doesn't matterThe only problem is, you don't know anything about my religious beliefs. Calling them "religious " is proof of thatOnly in your mindWho's "they?" I commented from my own perspective. This is why I called you closed-minded; because you assume you know where I'm coming from, arguing from that, and then proving that you don't without even asking for clarification. And even when the clarification you didn't asked for is provided, you continue down your incorrect line of reason. (Feb 25, 2012 | post #49)
That's it, keep jumping back and forth on which comment you have issue with. I'm sure it'll pay off for you in the end... (Feb 25, 2012 | post #48)
We're not talking about the deficit. We're talking about the economy. They're not the same. Case in point, Bush had one third the debt Obama has, and brought us into recession, while Obama has three times the debt, yet is bringing us out of the recession. Odd, no? (Feb 25, 2012 | post #53)
