Ending inequality in the car-pool lane
I own a 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid without the carpool stickers. The average joe was lucky to get a sticker. Most of the stickers went to government agencies. I noticed this because I work at 100 S. Main St in Los Angeles. I just counted 30 LA Dept of Transportion cars with HOV stickers, in the parking stucture. This does not include cars in the field or parked elsewhere. Multiply this by the huge number of government fleet vehicles throughout the state. And hybrid owners are wondering why they weren't able to get a sticker. Something is wrong with this picture.
