Honestly Former, I worked for WMA for several years as a TAC Officer, I understand why a business would put up a sign like you mentioned. I am not saying that all are shoplifters or criminals, but there sure are a lot of them. Some nights we had to go stand by Caseys just to monitor what was coming out that was bought. School mottos is, I will not lie, cheat, or steal. Any time I would try to enforce something, it would get pushed to the side. It is not about the cadet, it is about the money.  (Friday Oct 10 | post #8)

Believe it or not lex, there are people that will help regardless of your last name. You just need to meet them.  (Sunday Sep 28 | post #54)

Lexington Issues and Solutions

Lexmo, I am not saying "No more from you" let's just come up with solutions to the issues. It is great to debate, but sometimes debate changes, and arguing and bickering happen. Just trying to restore some order to the thread. Please keep up the posts.  (Thursday Sep 25 | post #45)

Lexington Issues and Solutions

Again, like stated earlier, let's focus on problems and come up with solutions. This is not a fight forum. If you have an issue with someone and want to conduct a personal attack on them, then start your own thread. I would really like this to be more productive.  (Wednesday Sep 24 | post #43)

I agree with the advice given. Attendance is something that will make this work. By posting things on here, most people can vent a lot easier without interruptions. Notes are being taken. I would not like to go into any type of a meeting without having some kind of idea of what is going on. I really don't care about pay. It should never be about the pay, only about the people.  (Wednesday Sep 24 | post #33)

Former, isn't that the way politics works? Got to do it at the end of the term so people remember what you did.  (Tuesday Sep 23 | post #26)

Lexington Issues and Solutions

I have had a friend get busted for a DUI leaving the Lexington Inn recently. They are only trying to make this a safer environment by taking the drunk drivers off the road. If you are stupid enough to get in your car after you have been drinking, then you deserve to get caught. I would say call a cab, but there really isnt one in town. Phone a friend, designate a driver, do something other than driving while intoxicated. I like to have my drinks once and awhile, but I always have a way to get home. I do know that if a cop is stationary and monitoring traffic, they should at least have their parking lights on, not hiding. It they are doing that it is considered entrapment.  (Monday Sep 22 | post #20)

LEXINGTON NURSING SCHOOL

Hmmmmmm, "I heard they tee pee a teachers house almost every year!" I remember reading in another post about using facts. Sounds like a gossip line to me. You never did anything crazy when you were in high school or college?  (Friday Sep 19 | post #2)

One Who Knows and Opinion-nator, please feel free to enlighten us with some facts. Please also be aware that most of us on here are from L-town or lived there in the past, and we are actually proud enough to display it on our avatar. No need to hide behind a fake name, come on out and be one of the crew.  (Friday Sep 19 | post #17)

Hence the reason I put my kids into the early childhood development program that the school district has. I do not mind the fact that churches do the same thing, education for youth is a great thing. I just don't think that it is right for the church just to replace or let a teacher go without any type of explanation to the parents and students. Did the teacher get a better job somewhere else? Did they move away for some particular reason? At least offer some sort of reasoning.  (Friday Sep 19 | post #11)
