Time difference between "here" and "yonder" where you are really sucks. It's now officially 9:05 a.m. here and I'm late for yet another meeting that I didn't want to go to in the first place... Profound thoughts...ponder on this would ya?? What's the best way to shoot a rubberband? with a gun? from a pointed finger? just pull back and let it fly? Morning HaH! Well, things in divorce-land on the East Coast are about to get interesting. HE'S decided that he does NOT want to sell the house and says he is STAYING there. His words, "You can go the &*%&* to (*^*(, you stupid (*%&((). I'm not giving up my house for no (^&*^body. " Well, fine. Get a lawyer, buy out my half of the house since the deed is in both names, show me the money and I'll leave so fast his head will spin. He says he's not going to give me a dime. Oh, yes. It's about to get very interesting indeed... Rick has chilled out quite a bit the past few days, hasn't he?? It's nice not to read the usual constant insults for a change. Just in Nevada...LOL...Tha t's funny!! You know, I never watched the Sixth Sense. I've heard it was an awesome movie with a surprise ending, but I have yet to watch it. They used to have shows on tv about folks dying and the spirits being unsettled. It was some haunted show on one of the satellite channels. I was watching up until they had an episode about modern-day practicing witches and spells, sprites, pentagrams, and other stuff that completely gave me goosebumps. That was the last one of those shows that I watched!! I used to love the X-Files too. Scariest movies - in my opinion - that I ever watched was the series of Child's Play movies about Chucky the killer doll. That scared the hell out of me. It was months before I'd go anywhere near any of the kids' dolls. I boxed them all up and put them away... (Yesterday | post #10230)

You're right, very interesting how much we REALLY know about. The only reason that I knew anything about this is because one of the girls - I think it must have been the older one - was studying past presidents in school and had to do a report on Truman. I don't know if she picked him or whether he was just the one she was assigned, but she had to research all about this and it stuck in my head. Also sticking in my mind is the fact that the wife of the attacker that went to jail was also busted for conspiracy in the attempt and went to jail herself. When she got out, she started a petition to keep her husband out of the electric chair. If I remember right, I think he was later pardoned and got out of jail. I want to say that Carter was the one that pardoned him, but I wouldn't swear to it. (Yesterday | post #6)

All I know is the two attackers were Puerto Rican and it had something to do with an uprising or a revolution or something in that country. One of them was killed at the house (so was a police officer) and the other went to jail. And it happened early November. Beyond that, I know nothing. What did you find out?? (Tuesday | post #3)

I'm onto something here... If you're a figment of my imagination, then this thread and site doesn't really exist since that's how I "met" you. Then all of the "Nothings " are really that - nothing because that would mean that none of them exist either. They couldn't exist if this thread wasn't here... All this means that my life since I first started posting here never really happened. So, in reality, it's June and not August and I have a whole summer left to look forward to doing NOTHING.
