"SuperScience" Platform Promoted

(C) 2008 Hudson Net Newswires (redistribution cleared with HNNEWS credit) "SuperScience " Platform Promoted By Barnes - National Tour Planned by David Conners for HNNEWS Dateline, Columbus,OH February 26th, 2008: R&D engineer and technologist Marshall Barnes presented a spirited lecture on the future of advanced science concepts at the Columbus Metropolitan Library auditorium, in Columbus, Ohio, recently. The lecture, the first in his series of SuperScience Live! events nationwide, was for high school physics students. The group that attended braved threats of winter snow storms and were willing to miss the start of the most critical of the Democratic primary debates between senators Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton in Cleveland, to see this rising star in the science world deliver his unique take on the future in a way that few could ever approach - both in content and style. By the end, the candidates could have picked up a few pointers from this passionate advocate. STOK: New Drink Wants You "Stokd", Dancing and Distracted

For Immediate Release: (c) June 29, 2007 Hudson Net Newswires (Cleared for redistribution with HNNEWS credit) STOK: New Drink Wants You "Stokd", Dancing and Distracted by Davy Wave A new energy drink wants you to dance all night and is giving you both the beats and the energy to do it. Broomfield, Colorado's WhiteWave Foods has burst on the scene with a high caffeinated drink, STÔK, a new brand that "kicks life up a notch and allows you to keep going - whatever you're doing," according to Trevor Bynum, director of marketing for STÔK. To that end STÔK has partnered with the self-declared pop evolutionaries of Datarock, to launch the STÔK Challenge: a national online dance-off competition with a shot to win $1,000 at www.GetStokd.com. To enter, users download the radio-edited version of Norway's Datarock's hyper jubilant track, "Fa-Fa-Fa " at GetStokd.com. After shooting themselves dancing to the track (solo or with up to one family member partner), contestants fill out a basic entry form and upload their video to the site. If the contest judges are hip to their dance moves, the video will be deemed to be "STÔK'd" enough to broadcast. Top rated entries will be ranked and posted for viewing on GetStokd.com through the contest's official end date of Aug. 31. Datarock's Frederik Saroea, says that "We're 100 percent behind fueling the all-out, non-stop, rapid fire dance party" which shouldn't be hard seeing as a STÔK Black Coffee Shot provides a 40mg jolt of pure caffeine in one serving, boosting the average cup of java to the punch of an espresso shot, according to a company press release. With that kind of energy, dancing to Saroea's and Ketil Mosnes' (bass/keyboards) post-punk, disco-tinged techno groovy music should be the just the thing to work off fuel injected, hyperactive feeling you're bound to get. "We (Datarock) selected 'Fa-Fa-Fa' for this contest to up the dance ante - people must have mad skills to keep with the beat", Saroea intimated. "We hired a troupe to do on-stage aerobics for one of our shows, and even they were gasping for air," which sounds like there should be some kind of health warning involved somewhere. Political Analyst Leads Charge Against Double Standards

POLITICAL ANALYST LEADS CHARGE AGAINST DOUBLE STANDARDS: America Responds With Support By Dave Marcus Political analyst Thurman Boyd Hayes III seems to have struck a chord with America, as sentiments that he first expressed in a piece for True American News and syndicated by World Net News http://forums.pros pero.com/n/mb/disp lay.asp?webtag=kr- biloxigenera&m sg=9462.1 have been repeated on the Today Show and on newspaper message boards around the country. Today Show commentators Matt Lauer and Meredith Vieira both interviewed a variety of guests who addressed the double standard that seems to exist where black rappers are allowed to say derogatory comments about women and blacks, but no one else is. But the real crux of the Thurman piece was that Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, the NAACP and others, should be held responsible as well for permitting the double standard to exist and to grow into a “rot” that is “untenable” in America today. That wasn’t addressed on the NBC program at all, but it seems to have resonated with readers from across America.
